The Space:
There are two small bedrooms, one loft with access to an outdoor patio right from the bedroom. Both beds are twin size to allow for the cozy space and 2 guests.
You will find the quaint kitchen stocked with all your essentials: coffee pot, large fridge, toaster oven, utensils, induction stove and pots and pans.
The beautiful cast-iron, clawfoot soaking tub and shower combo will transport you to simpler times. Relax in the courtyard with your morning coffee and/or sit outside at sunset to watch for wildlife. This is a desert ranch, so there are some desert-aware instructions your hosts will provide when you arrive! Come stay and enjoy our unique accommodations!

This unit is connected to another unit (next to each other) and share a courtyard.

About the Ranch Restoration:
The Las Lomas Ranch hosted John Wayne, Clark Gable, and Eleanor Roosevelt in its prime. The owners and hosts are restoring units, most built in the 1930s and 1940s. While modernizing for guest, the historical vibe remains and is an important part of the restoration. We appreciate our guests understanding that we have crews working during the day (8am-4pm) to get additional units available soon. Stay and be a part of helping us restore the Ranch to its splendor!

Quaint and Unique

The property had a really nice lived in feel, we appreciated that it felt so authentic and personal. I loved the pool deck, the pink floors, and the wooden framing in the upstairs bedroom

Perfect for a father-daughter trip to Tucson

The Orchid offers a great combination of staying in the desert while enjoying a relatively short drive to downtown. We loved the historic look and feel of the buildings on the ranch, and hearing the owls and coyotes at night. The host provided superb, thorough and prompt communication. We hope to return soon!
