We travel a lot, and you're able to stay in our home because we're not there! Our friend Emily takes the lead on communicating with you and making the space ready for you.
Historic Trinity Park is one of Durham’s most sought-after neighborhoods, both for its historic architecture and prime location. The tree lined streets connect to parks, Duke’s East campus, and right to the heart of downtown. I love that I can enjoy the peace and quiet on my street, and within a 5 minute walk be in the middle of everything.
You'll have complete private access to the house, front porch & yard, back porch & yard, and garage.
There are 2 additional units on the property, each with their own private entrance - neither has access to the porch, backyard or garage.
In the main house, there is an apartment with a long term, quiet tenant - this is fully separate from the house with it's own exterior entrance. [See the floor plan for details]
The second floor of the garage is a short term rental apartment. These guests access the apartment from the alley and an exterior staircase. They do not have access to the first floor of the garage.
Classic architecture meets modern amenities in this renovated 1928 Trinity Park home. Huge windows bring in natural light to every room. Whatever brings you to the Bull City, you'll find yourself wanting to spend your time here! Close enough to walk to Brightleaf, Duke, Downtown or Ninth Street, but tucked into a picturesque neighborhood of towering oaks and historic homes. Highlights include:
Massive primary bedroom with king bed, matching built in closets and a dual desk attached office.
First floor ensuite bedroom with full bed and shower.
Stunning chefs kitchen with a full pantry and breakfast nook.
Cozy family room with TV - perfect for movie nights or a kids play area.
Formal dining and living rooms.
Back deck with grill and heat lamp in a fully fenced back yard.
Private 2-car garage.
Rocking chairs on the front porch. Does it get more Carolina than that!?
You'll have full access to the 2 car garage, as well as abundant free street parking.
You're walking distance to downtown Durham and Duke University - and eat biking distance to almost all of Durham!
As stated in the house rules, there is an automatic minimum $250 service fee for any violations of house rules that require additional cleaning and/or cause damage. This is our home. We have tried to make it comfortable for you and for us, and have been thoughtful in the amenities we provide. We appreciate you for exercising the same level of thought and care when staying here.
While we are happy to host families, please note that the apartment is not “child-proofed,” nor do we provide any child-focused amenities (no crib, pack-n-play, high chair, etc). With the exception of the cool lofted twin beds, and the parent-friendly family room.
We do ask that guests are relatively quiet after 10 PM, as a courtesy to neighbors. It's an old house, and noise travels!
Parties and loud groups are not permitted. Thanks for helping us be good neighbors.
Smoking or vaping of any substances is not permitted on the premises.
Well-behaved pets are welcome, and must be registered with the reservation. There is a base pet fee of $50 - total fee will be negotiated depending on # of pets and duration of stay.
Reservations of over 29 days are subject to additional fees. These are dependent upon length of reservation, and will be discussed when an inquiry or booking is made.

We use Safely as a third party screener for the safety of all of our guests and neighbors. As part of the reservation you will agree that: "I give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen my identity and check criminal databases to confirm my reservation." Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening.
