About this property

Chalet Kabana Spa on Lake Beaudoin

Summary:
Stunning chalet with a distinctly modern design, located just 5 minutes from the village of Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie, with private access to Lac Beaudoin (non-motorized), only 75 minutes from Montreal. This two-story chalet has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The chalet is equipped with a hot tub and an outdoor dry sauna (available year-round).

The Space:
During the summer season (from May to October), you have access to a private dock for swimming, and 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, and 1 pedal boat are provided. Chalet Kabana is located on a large, private wooded lot of 53,000 sq. ft., making it a peaceful retreat away from prying eyes. High-speed unlimited Wi-Fi connection (Fiber 500 Go) is included.

The chalet is heated by electric baseboards and is protected by a central alarm system and an entry camera system. It is strongly recommended to access the chalet with a 4-wheel drive vehicle in winter, as although the chalet is regularly cleared of snow, the access road is sloped and may cause some inconvenience.

The chalet entrance is on the upper floor. As you enter, you'll find a cloakroom, a large fully equipped modern kitchen (including a dishwasher, various cooking utensils, children's dishware, drip coffee maker, and Nespresso Original Line machine), and a spacious dining room for 6 people with high 10-foot ceilings and a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake.

On the same floor, there is also a full bathroom with a rain shower/tub (towels provided; please bring your own towels for the hot tub and swimming) and a beautiful closed bedroom with a queen-size canopy bed and a view of the lake.

Available during the warmer months, a 3-season veranda provides a mosquito-free relaxation space where you can enjoy meals and the view. This terrace includes a propane barbecue that is functional and accessible year-round, perfect for grilling enthusiasts in all seasons.

On the garden level, there is a large living room with a stunning view of the lake, a convertible sofa bed (double), two armchairs, an HD TV, Bell ExpressVu, unlimited high speed Wi-Fi, various board games, a Bluetooth sound system, and an ambient electric fireplace. The area has excellent 4G cellular coverage for your phone.

Behind the living room is a spacious, comfortable bedroom with a queen-size bed and a closet for storing your personal belongings. All the bedding is pure cotton, and the duvets are hypoallergenic synthetic down. The chalet is heated by electric baseboards. A washer/dryer and vacuum cleaner are also available on-site.

The large garden-level terrace features a built-in 4-person hot tub (cleared of snow and accessible year-round). A screened-in 3-season veranda serves as an outdoor dining area for 6 people during the warmer months. A propane gas BBQ is available and functional year-round.

Accessible via a staircase (not cleared of snow in winter due to the steep slope), you can reach the lake below the chalet and a large private dock with chairs for relaxing, along with 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 pedal boat, and 4 adult life jackets. An outdoor firepit (wood provided; bring your own newspaper, kindling) is set up near the lake and is accessible during 3 seasons (also not cleared of snow in winter due to the slope).

The outdoor parking area can accommodate up to 4 cars. It is strongly recommended to access the chalet with a 4-wheel drive vehicle in winter, as although the chalet is regularly cleared of snow, the access road is sloped and may cause some inconvenience.

Parfait!

This was a wonderful property and we loved our stay here! Everything was exactly as depicted and described. Check-in was very easy and our hosts communicated clearly every step of the way. The property itself is beautiful; we definitely felt privacy while still being conveniently located to the grocery store, activities, etc. The lake is incredibly peaceful - a perfect spot for both morning coffee and afternoon sun-bathing. We used every part of the house, deck, and dock during our stay; all are well-maintained and appointed. The house was clean and had all the basics as well as things that felt luxurious on vacation, like nice sheets. The washer/dryer was easy to operate and it really helped to be able to do a load of laundry. Bonus points: we love to cook, and it was wonderful to be in a kitchen that was so fully outfitted with pots/pans, cooking tools, etc. We could not have been happier with our stay here and hope to come again some time!
