Cute place. Beautiful setting. Needs improvement.

I would have no hesitation staying here again, however, it wasn't without its shortcomings--One of the bedrooms was missing a hanging rod, and there were no dressers in either nor were there any floor lamps, so it didn't feel as homey as it probably will eventually.Also, forced air HVAC is unusual in the mountains, and it was VERY loud, so that interferred with the otherwise quite mountain setting. There's a tub but no filler, so plan on showers only.The check-in/out process was bungled, and I suspect that will be quickly rectified, but I can only comment on what I actually experienced. The owner was apologetic and quick to communicate.Also, if the listing doesn't already say, count on phone service dropping off at Dedisse Park when heading west from downtown. Meaning, if you don't have your check-in instructions downloaded before then, you might have to drive back like I did.

Neat property with nice views.

This is a nice little property, the cabin was very clean and recently renovated. All the finishes were very nice. The host supplied everything you would need for a stay. The owner was quick to respond with any inquiries. I would go back. I highly recommend you consider this rental.

Originally from the mountains in northern Arizona, we love the outdoors and mountain living. Being outdoors and enjoying nature encompasses so much of what we do and love. Moving to Colorado a decade ago, we quickly fell in love with Evergreen making it our forever home.

Why they chose this property

Evergreen as a whole has so much to offer; from nature, culture, outdoors, golf, and more. The Upper Bear Creek area is an absolutely breathtaking area with a beautiful creek abutted by meadows and steep hills. Everyday is a chance to view Elk, Deer, and other wildlife.

What makes this property unique

Nestled on a south facing hillside allows for great sun exposure and views of Elephant Butte. This small cabin located on over an acre of land affords a serene nature experience with all the comforts of home in a fully remodeled 1950's cabin.
