The Cottage is situated on the rock on Sparrow Lake and has 240 ft of shoreline and amazing unobstructed panoramic lake views just a few steps from the water! The property is secluded and completely separated by the treeline and waterline. Limitless family-friendly activities and amenities any time of the year, close proximity to town amenities, all within 1.5 hrs from Toronto.

Zuka Lakeview Cottage is offering 2 bedrooms and is available when our full Lakehouse (4 bdrms) is not occupied, so while access to some areas is limited you will have private use of the interior space. It is very unique and tastefully decorated with breathtaking panoramic views of Sparrow Lake all around just a few steps away from the lake. The bedrooms and the main bathroom with soak-in bathtub are located on the lower level, while our open concept fully equipped kitchen and living room, walking out onto the gorgeous Roof Top Patio are located on the second level. You are guaranteed to be taken away by astonishing view of an open lake, enjoy nature, meet the sunrise or be mesmerized by colourful sunsets, and, later at night, do some serious stargazing. The roof top is complete with propane BBQ, patio set and fireplace table. Get cozy inside by electric fireplace or just spend a whole day playing board games, video games or watch classic movies from our DVD collection. We also have high speed internet for your working or streaming needs. For your convenience, we also provide all the bedding, linens and towels that are thoroughly washed and disinfected.

Experience the long tradition of saunas and rejuvenate in our wood-fired barrel Hot Tub and Sauna made of Western Red Cedar, nested right by the lake. The hot tub will be refilled just for you with fresh lake water and it both amenities will be set up for your exclusive use and is only available upon request at additional cost (please see bellow for full description and prices). There is nothing like going back and forth between a hot tub and a sauna, followed by a cold plunge into the lake or snow – it is the peak of relaxation. Top it off with massage service by certified massage practitioner.

Enjoy various outdoor activities, such as cross-country skiing or skating on our private rink on the lake (subject to weather) and then warm up by the firepit or our outdoor wood stove. You might also want to explore nearby tobogganing hills and local snowmobile trails accessible right off our driveway. Gather your fishing equipment for some serious ice-fishing just steps away (ice fishing hut and equipment is available for rent).

The guests will have access the entire property, except the Boathouse and another room that will be marked “off limits”, including our amazing Roof-Top patio, SPA complex and our large front yard. Guests will have private use of SPA complex with wood burning sauna and hot tub. There might be other guests at our Boathouse which is a separate unit with separate entrance at another part of the house, so outdoor space such as backyard may be shared with other guests. The guests are welcome to use kayaks, canoe and peddle boat, subject to season (life jackets are provided).

Off Limits: Boathouse, Furnace Room at the back of the house (red door on the side); sheds; outside utility area on the right side of the house by fence.

Zuka Cottage is conveniently located in beautiful lands of Muskoka that is historically notorious for its stunning beauty, clear and full of fish waters, and awe-inspiring sunsets. You will find us just 1.5-2 hours from Toronto, 40 minutes north of Barrie, or 15 minutes south of Town of Gravenhurst.

This lake is made famous by being part of the Trent Severn Waterway for unlimited boating. And if you like fishing, gather your fishing accessories as this is your lucky time, because Sparrow Lake is also known as one of the richest lakes for fishing.

We are located on Sparrow Lake - known for its gorgeous sunsets and beautiful vistas in every direction. This lake is made famous by being part of the Trent Severn Waterway for unlimited boating. It is also know for great fishing experience right from the shore. There is also a boat launch and public sandy beach right across from us.

We are just about 15 minutes drive up north to downtown of Gravenhurst - otherwise known as "The Gateway to Muskoka". Gravenhurst offers a vibrant community rich in Arts, Culture and Heritage and is home to great events, recreational facilities and outdoor activities in Muskoka.

The Orillia and Lake Country region is one of Ontario’s most picturesque area’s is located only about 20 minutes south of us.

Zuka Cedar SPA experience:

Experience the long tradition of saunas and rejuvenate in our wood-fired barrel Hot Tub and Sauna made of Western Red Cedar, nested right by the lake. It will be set up for your exclusive use and is only available upon request at additional cost as it needs preparation, deep cleaning, and maintenance before each guest.

You can enjoy our barrel cedar Sauna overlooking the lake at anytime throughout entire period of your stay at additional $150, including the required firewood. It will also come pre-set with Zuka's Sauna essentials: sauna “Venik” made of fresh pine or cedar branches, sauna hats, spa robes and towels, essential oils, and sauna accessories required for a true use of Cedar Sauna experience.

The Hot Tub will be additional $250 for the entire renting period. Since we use absolutely no chemicals, the hot tub will be cleaned and completely refilled for you with fresh lake water free of any chemicals. We will also pre-start it in advance of your arrival, as it may take up to 24 hours to heat up depending on the weather. You would have to keep it going by periodically adding more firewood, which is provided. It will also come pre-set with all required essentials, such as bath robes and towels, and essential oils. Picture this. You are soaking deliciously in a beautiful cedar wood hot tub, inhaling amazing cedar aroma, listening to cracking fire, and surrounded by mesmerizing nature with breathtaking lake view. Your stress and worries are melting away into the water. Tranquility abounds. The moment you are guaranteed to enjoy and remember at ZuKaLand!

There is nothing like going back and forth between the hot tub and sauna, followed by a cold plunge into the lake or snow – it is the peak of relaxation. It is very therapeutic and healthy! The total Zuka Cedar Spa experience package, together with hot tub, sauna and firewood will be a total of $400.00. If booked together as a package, you will also receive a coupon for 10% OFF for relaxation massage done by our masseuse, who will come to Zukaland with her entire set up.
