Nothing really good to say other than views were great.
So where to start, the day we checked into the room it smelled so bad of sewage. Immediately we called the front desk asking for someone to come check it out and were told they would send someone right up. After several hours and no one showing up I called a second time, this time I was told that the maintenance crew was gone for the day and it would be taken care of first thing in the morning. (9:00am). We slept in some of our friends room who were there at the same hotel. I asked for batteries as all of the remotes for tv, fan were all dead. Again was told I had to wait till 9:00 am. Well that time came and went the next day and still nothing. After contacting the owner and several calls to the front desk, I finally went down to the desk and told them it was unacceptable, they said go wait in the room and someone will be right up. AWSOME now I’m spending my vacation waiting in the room for someone I show up, they never showed. By this point the other roommates all complained at the desk, finally someone came up and fixed the drains by spraying glade downy them.(you can imagine how long that lasted) Although it still smelled it was better than nothing. The lamps in the small room didn’t work, one was completely broken and the other wouldn’t turn on, dead bulb maybe? I asked for that to get fixed as well, took two days. The patio with the bbq (the main reason we rented this unit) was completely filthy, being proactive I asked the first day we got here to have someone or for them to let me hose it off and clean it. Several calls to the office and the owner of the unit and finally it was cleaned at 4pm on the last night we were here. There are no beach towels in the unit so regardless of what you are told, there are none in the room or at the hotel, So bring your own!!! There are no screens on any of the doors so in order to hear the ocean and get the fresh air without letting flies in your room you have to sit on the patio. I could go on and on about the issues we had in the room and the lack of anyone caring or fixing anything in a timely manor but I doubt it would do any good. We paid a pretty penny to have this room for the long weekend and it was a shame everything we had to deal with. There seems to be a conflict between owner and hotel as every time we asked for something to get done it was a two day process to have it happen.
The owner says contact the desk and the desk blows you off entirely. Ridiculous.
