BEWARE..BEWARE...

When first arrived I was excited. However, the excitement quickly ended. After walking around the home we noticed how FILTHY the home was. Not only was it FILTHY, there were 4 rooms in the home that had absolutely no furniture in them. The listing said it sleep ten, it could sleep 4 at best due to missing furniture. It became abundantly clear that this home was not ready for rental. One of the attractions for us was the pool, while due to the gross slim streaks all over the bottom of the pool and the multiple dead lizards in it, I refuse to get in it. We had smoke detectors going off every 30 seconds day and night for low battery. The water in laundry room tub was shut off. The washing machine was covered in dirt inside, it looked like a bucket if dirty sandy water was dumped in it(more than likely due to water in sink being turned off. As mentioned the listing says sleeps ten, there was only enough silverware and dishes for 4 people. Not to mention I had to wash all of them prior to using since price tags were still on them. It was 82-85 degrees while there and we were not allowed to turn on the ac as there was a note saying not to touch thermostat. I did speak to owner, she offered to have someone clean house and pool while there. I refused that, due to my personal belongings being there and I was not comfortable with that. She did credit the 300.00 cleaning fee. This was by far my worst experience I have had when staying at a VRBO location.
