About this property
Just What I Needed Retreat
Although just minutes from Hochatown dining, entertainment and recreational activities, you’ll enjoy this exclusive destination property all to yourself in quiet serenity, as this cabin sits at the end of a road with no traffic and no neighbors in sight. The retreat backs up to the Ouchita National Forest and a babbling brook runs directly behind. There’s a circle drive with ample parking, including trailers, (no RVs), a large campfire ring, horseshoe pit, tree swing and relaxing hot tub.
This two-story cabin features three bedrooms and 2.5 baths and sleeps eleven—perfect for an extended family vacation, a ladies' weekend escape, or a group of friends just wanting to get away from it all. The main bedroom is downstairs and has a king-size bed and a private bath, complete with a soaking tub and separate shower. The two upstairs bedrooms also have king-sized beds and there is a full bath upstairs.
There are 2 bunk rooms. One is located downstairs and has a double bunk. It has an interior door for privacy, as well as access to the wrap around porch.
The second bunk room is upstairs and sleeps 3. This room also serves as a game room with a vintage arcade, board games and a TV. The door to this room is located in one of the upstairs bedrooms. There is no direct access from the hallway.
One of the best features of the cabin is the fully covered wraparound porch, perfect for enjoying the first cup of coffee in the morning and the last activity of stargazing at night. It features a foosball table, gas grill and outside dining for all.
The furnishings and décor are recently updated and include several custom and unique pieces. The wide-open living/dining area includes a large smart TV and features a dramatic two-story, locally quarried, mountain stone fireplace. Enjoy the glow of a cozy seasonal natural wood fire with the whole family! And the fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare gourmet meals for family and friends.
If you’re looking for that all-important getaway to recharge your physical, mental and spiritual health, come discover how our retreat will leave you saying it was “…just what I needed.”
