Green Valley Inn is a new place (started in 2017), located in a quiet and green valley (as the name says) in the Cayo district of Belize.
We are 1/2 mile (800 meters) off the Western Highway, 11 miles (18 km) west of San Ignacio and 11 miles east of Belmopan and Spanish Lookout is 7 miles (13 km) north.
The location is perfect for exploring the surroundings and many attractions and activities.
The whole property is open to our guests.
You will find beautiful plants and many different trees (cohune, coconut, cacao, mango, avocado, sour soup, bananas … and so on) near your room.
Free wireless Internet is also available.
A small pool and hammocks offer a private area to relax.
The bus stops about 1/2 mile (800 meters) in front of our place.
We offer an airport shuttle as well as transportation to/from other Belize and Mexico (Yucatan) locations.
And we have cars for rent.
Free parking is available.
Nearby are restaurants with a big variety of real good food.
A 5 minutes’ walk brings you to a creek with crystal clear water and a nice swimming hole.
As a licensed tour operator we offer day tours, tour packages, all inclusive journeys, excursions and adventures.

About the host

Born in Germany, blessed with a great childhood and excellent education I was able to found, built and run a successful IT company in Germany. But finally the dream of freedom overcome and I decided to move to Belize in 2004. My first tourism experience was the developing of Wolfs Place, a lodge I was able to bring up to 2nd place in Trip Advisor.
Beside this I wrote and published some books about Belize so you can be sure you will meet a “seasoned” host.
We are an international team.
My partner Marcela is from Chile. She is sweet and real good in caring for all your desires. She is able to read your hunger in your eyes. I know, she disagrees but her breakfast is excellent.
And last but not least we are able to host guests in three different languages – German, English, and Spanish.

After experiencing great adventures you can relax on your private porch, have a drink in the pool or spend time in the hammock. Nobody will disturb you.
You will be surrounded be a big variety of fruit trees, listening to birds and invited to go for a water dip in the pool or the creek nearby.
Interaction with locals is possible in the village. A variety of restaurants with real good food and bars with strong local drinks are in walking distance
