Fantastic - loved the villa, lots of space for our family of four and the pool was wonderful. Views across the gulf of Thailand from the property are stunning. You can walk into Bophut or it’s a short drive. We ate out at the fisherman’s village every night. Loved all the food and lively atmosphere. Went to the elephant sanctuary nearby and a Thai boxing match. Was really fun and a memorable holiday for all of us.

Holiday
Communication with the property manager was excellent. Dishes and glassware had to be washed before we used them. Due to an unusual downpour water was leaking through the down lights. The area was close to fisherman’s village but tuk tuks were few and far between.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Villa for 3 weeks Jan / Feb of this year.
The Villa is on a complex of around 15 Villas of different sizes with 24 hour security. The location of the Villa is excellent and is located between Fisherman's Village and Bangrak with either being about a kilometre away in either direction where there are lost of very good restaurants, bars and 7-11 shops. It is very easy to flag down one of the Tuk Tuk type vehicles on the main road outside the complex that will take you to either for just 50 baht per person if you don't want to drive, we had a car for a week but didn't use it that much as we preferred to enjoy the villa in the day and just flagged a Tuk Tuk in the evenings so we could have a few drinks with our meal. There are also 2 very good restaurants within walking distance, Deck Beach Club and My Friend, the latter is a typical family no frills Thai restaurant and the food was very good with the most amazing sea views, we ate here a number of times during our stay when we didn't want to venture out too far.
We had an issue during our stay that was outside of the Managements control but Lynn and Nikki were very quick to address this and Nikki came to villa to offer help and support straight away.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but do feel the villa and pool area needs some tlc as it is looking a little tired and would also benefit from a bit of a spring clean.
Thanks

We had a wonderful stay, Lynn was super responsive to messages. Villa in a great location not in the hills like other places. Gorgeous view, absolutely huge. Would love to come back one day xx

This was a very lovely house to stay in. The views from the master bedroom were fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment to cook with and the property had beach towels. The washing machine was also very helpful to have. Everything was very clean. We loved the pool and pool rafts and a pool man came a few times to clean it during our stay. The only thing I would say negative is the beach nearby....it was a bit dangerous to walk to, no sidewalks....and quite frankly it was not a great beach to be on. We did not mind though, because we had a car we were able to visit other beaches around the island. This was our plan from the start...to explore. I highly recommend this place, but do think you should have a car. Lynn and her staff were very responsive to emails we sent and communications.
Outstanding Property in an Excellent part of Koh Samui
I must say that our stay in the villa Shabi Thani was wonderful - the house was exceptional and the layout was perfect for my wife and I and our 2 sons. The pool was a great size and depth and the size of the master bedroom and bathroom was exceptional. Watching the sunrise over the sea from the balcony was just wonderful and will be missed.
We would recommend hiring a car as there are a few restaurants within walking distance but driving to fisherman’s village offers an even greater selection of restaurants and, bars and great massages - there is a car park on the entrance to it which costs only a £1, this also gives you easy access to Bophut Beach.
Would recommend Coco Tams in Fishermans village but our favourite breakfast and lunch stop was the Tree House Silent Beach - this sits on Mae Nam beach and well worth the short Drive .

Pros.
Excellent communication from Lynn the host. A couple of minor queries when we arrived dealt with very promptly. Great location close to Fishermans Village. View that you’d never get tired of. Largest villa pool we’ve had with extended pool area and garden benefiting from the sun all day. Spacious villa over all. Very conscientious cleaning staff every 3 days.
Minor cons. (Our opinion)
1 or 2 areas need updating. New curtains and a bit of minor decorating. Nothing worth complaining about during the stay but simply an observation.
Would return and recommend.
Lost a star for the minor observations and stayed in similar villas for a little less cost all be it the view is the selling point here.
