Great Condo

This was a great place to stay. Easy walk to the beach, quiet, comfortable. It is not for everyone, as there is no elevator, but they do put that clearly in the listing. Contact was responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

This is a cute condo in a wonderful location, 2 buildings back from the beach. We arrived after dark and the next morning saw that the ocean and the beach are visible from both bedrooms, the living room and the balcony. We loved walking on the beach, watching sunrises, and eating good food in the neighborhood restaurants. Downtown Charleston is only 30 minutes away, and we enjoyed the beautiful architecture and delicious food of this historic city. Loved it, would definitely go back!

Clean and Close to the action.

The property is very close to the beach access and IOP main activities. Owner is very nice to work with and was always available for questions before and after the visit. The previous reviewer mentioned, that the view from the balcony was great! Thank you to the owner for providing such an clean and affordable place to stay! Will definitely stay there again on my next vacation to the Isle of Palms if I can.

Very affordable IOP rental

This 2 BR condo right in the middle of IOP was a great place for our late summer getaway. Enjoyed morning coffee on the porch and watched the sunrise and ocean from there. I love the check in and out process. Very easy. The owner was very receptive and has thought of everything. We would stay here again.

Everything you need, and great location!

We have stayed on IOP several times, and this condo was by far our favorite. We were a little skeptical since it was not right on the beach, but we actually had a better view than the last condo we stayed in, that was beachfront. The condo was very clean, and very well stocked. The beds, and all the furniture were very comfortable. We love the close proximity to everything, and the access to the pier. The owner was great to work with. We plan on visiting again, and would definately stay at this condo again. Thank you for such a great place, at a great price!

Great Location, Great Condo & Great Host!

After cutting our stay in this lovely condo short because of Hurricane Matthew, I'm still anxious to go back there. It was the perfect size and set-up for us four ladies on our girl trip! Just close enough to downtown Charleston to do any of the tourist things, but also a beach view from our balcony! We actually spent most of our time on IOP due to the hurricane, but the locals were great! Good places to eat and nice beach area. Our host was easy to work with while planning our stay but went above & beyond after we got there and all realized that we had to evacuate. He provided info that we needed quickly and also a refund of the nights not used. It was good to have that resource only a phone call or text away. We can't wait to go back to Charleston and this condo! Thanks again, Richard! Hope you find everything ok when you can get back in.

Very basic, but what we needed

This property was great for our family. It was spacious enough, had most everything we needed for the week, and was in a great location. I do feel like the unit needs some serious TLC. More so with small things, but fixing just a few things would make a HUGE difference in the quality of the unit! Just a few items I noticed... #1 The dishwasher is terrible. It does not clean the dishes at all. We had to hand was the dishes we pulled out to use bc they were all dirty. #2 Overall, the unit needs a serious deep clean. On the surface it was clean, but we had to vacuum when we arrived and there was just a lot of grime in the floor corners and under the sofa (which we pulled out for a bed). #3 The screen door track needs to be fixed. It comes off track everytime it is opened. #4 Some updating of fixtures would be great too, though not necessary :) We would stay here again. It was a pleasant and quiet stay.

Perfect location

This condo was in the perfect location. My friend and I were visiting for a friends wedding and made a vacation out of it. We were a 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and good coffee! The condo, although a bit dated, was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay (including beach chairs!) I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

The apartment is very clean and freshly painted. However the building exterior and landing was not. Suggest replacing toilet seat in hall bath and AC very noisy in guest bedroom. Furniture dated. Very good location.

Spring break vacation

Overall we enjoyed our spring break vacation (just my kids and I, as my husband had to work). We love IOP, it’s a great speed for our family with just enough to do but able to relax and slow down for a bit. The condo is in a great location. We had previously stayed in Oceanside Villas that is directly on the beach, which I prefer, but this one is just a quick walk across the road. The condo is clean and has everything you need. There was renovations going on in the condo directly below us which was very loud, including saws, drills, loud construction workers, between 8am-4pm, which is no fault of the owner of our condo, but did make being in the condo during the day a little frustrating. I think the condo itself could use some updating, but other than that it was clean and enjoyable.

Across the street from beach

Location is the selling point to this property. If you need an place to rest from being at the beach or exploring the marsh etc, this is perfect! I walked on the beach each morning before my family awoke. Everyone enjoyed the convenience of the beach and my daughter loved having the pool as and option if we didn’t want to walk to the beach. Decor is dated and the facility could use some updating, but everything worked well enough for our family beach vacation.
