- There are lots of things to do in Big Bear every
season. Clean air and friendly people make Big Bear
Lake the best mountain vacation spot in Southern
California. So, come on up and enjoy it. Close to
convention center where they have Country
dancing on Wednesdays on Saturdays. Tuesdays
they have a Farmers Market except for wintertime.
There are Car Shows and a host of other activities
at the Convention Center. We are about 3 miles
from the Village & 3 miles from the Ski Slopes.

- Do I need snow tire chains to get to Big Bear?
During the winter months, carrying chains on you is
almost always required unless your car is a four-
wheel drive. Storms may be unpredictable and
therefore it helps to have them. Additionally, during
the winter months, the CHP may stop you to see if
you have them and ticket you if you don't.

- This cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything you need Shopping centers, stores etc. The cabin also has a unique cozy feel to it, surrounded by large trees and close to the lake. Inside the cabin also has comfortable mattresses and a wide space in the living area. There is also a
wonderful patio to read a book or just go on your phone! There is also a large patio if you want to barbecue with your friends and family.

Not accurate listing, but still some parts nice

First off please note that there are only 1.5 bathrooms, so 4 adults had to share one shower. Also all bedrooms are downstairs, right next to each other, with paper-thin walls. The stairs leading up to main quarters are very narrow and steep. Upstairs is very nice and as pictured. However, the house stinks of dogs! Dog pee or just musty dog. Had to buy 3 scented candles just to hang in living room. Prop manager is great and responds right away, but really need to be more honest about the bathrooms (said it was VRBO not letting them say it was just a powder room), and they need to remove/change the carpet to get rid of the horrible dog oder.
