About this property

Luxury Northstar Lodge

Lodge style elegance for mountain style living best describes this phenomenal home. You will be captivated the moment you enter by the massive vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, and gorgeous slate flooring. Prepare your meals in the gourmet kitchen with it's six burner burner range, four ovens, slate counters, stainless steel appliances and oversized pantry. Then gather for great conservation at the huge dining room table surrounded by large windows displaying the lovely backyard. Entertain yourselves without leaving the home with foosball , a pool table, shuffle board and plenty of board games.

This house is perfect for families! The main level has 4 en-suite bedrooms with either king or queen beds. The upstairs has a bunk room with 2 full beds and 2 twin beds. In addition, there is a queen sleeper sofa and a full bed in additional sleeping area- both in the game room. In addition, we have 2 ports cribs and sleeping mats for the floor.

In the winter, there is a sledding hill right in the back yard and in summer, the large paved backyard patio is a perfect place to relax.

*Please note that as per Placer County, we can only accommodate up to 12 adults plus a max of 8 children. This is for your comfort as well!

The house was perfect for the eight of us. And it was well appointed - everything you could need. The owners were responsive and helpful. Northstar is a great choice for a Lake Tahoe vacation - away from the crowds yet close to all the surrounding sites and activities.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout is very functional, the radiant heat kept things warm, the bed linens are lovely, and the kitchen makes good practical sense. An all around lovely place to be!

Excellent Managers Retreat
We held our annual Managers Retreat at Northstar Resort this year and had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property. It had plenty of beds for our group, the location was close to the village, and Nicole was very helpful and responsive to any of our questions or requests.

Fantastic Place
Our family and friends had a wonderful time celebrating my wife on her 40th birthday. House is awesome. Commercial kitchen, game room, and a sledding hill directly behind the house were just a few of our favorite features. Overall a fantastic gathering place. Highly recommend.

Great Property
This is a great property to stay at if you have a large group. We were 12 golfers and we all throughly enjoyed our stay there. We made great use of the recreation room, hot tub and BBQ grill. The kitchen is fabulous and stocked very well with utensils, plates, cups, glasses, pots and pan. It has a 48inch Wolf range which we used everyday. Each bedroom has a full bathroom and there are plenty of towels and supplies. Would definitely stay there again! Cheers

We had an amazing time in this amazing Tahoe home. The house was everything you could possibly want. Close to Northstar village and skiing. Gourmet kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group and had every amenity. House was beautifully decorated and everything you could possibly want. Amazing outdoor grill on covered porch and hot tub. Huge game room with bar overlooking the main living space-perfection! Owner and property manager was easy to reach and was even able to have groceries delivered and put away before we arrived. Highly recommend staying here and will plan to visit again.

Once again this was a wonderful home that had everything we could need to share the holidays with family. The house was very clean and pet friendly but it always smelled fresh. Overall a great experience for the second Thanksgiving in row!!

We have rented multiple VRBO properties and this was the best appointed home in terms of kitchen cookware/ dishware-drinkware and bath amenities. All bedrooms suited our group very well and the game room was fun for all. Only wish is that it was air-conditioned, as we had to keep the windows closed due to smoke, which was no fault of the owners.

Fun base for adventures in Tahoe
We had a great time at the house. Plenty of space to spread out and kids loved the game room and outdoor ping pong table. Walking distance to coffee and the community pool. Kitchen is really well stocked for large scale entertaining with multiple dishwashers and ovens. Homeowners were quick to respond to any issues, though most of the things couldn't be fixed by email. Only constructive feedback would be to do a thorough check-up on the house. A number of sliding doors were off, some bulbs burnt out, cable tv was not working and the hot tub controller was broken. Still had a great time and these would be easy things to fix. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Everything was perfect- the house had everything we could of asked for. We spent Thanksgiving with family and extended family. Everyone had space to spread out and still be together. The hill in the back was perfect for the littles to sled while the teens enjoyed the pool table and game room. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedding on the beds was extremely comfortable. Defiantly would recommend this property to families!!

Wonderful Tahoe Family Getaway!
My husband and 2 boys (both under 10 years old) decided to take a last-minute trip to Tahoe and were excited to see this house available. Arrival was super easy and the place was spotless. I enjoyed the multiple fireplaces and the kids had a blast in the game room and hot tub. We brought our bikes and spent most of our time biking but we would love to come back in the winter for snowboarding!

This home is perfect for large groups. Each of the 5 bedrooms has it's own full bathroom for ultimate privacy. The 5th bedroom is a bunk room that sleeps six. The game room has pool, foosball, ping pong and shuffleboard.
