Just a half mile from the snowmobile trail with ample trailer parking, this cozy cabin offers a peaceful, private escape for snowmobilers, snowshoers, and ice fishers in winter, and swimming, fishing, and kayaking in summer. Centrally located for exploring all the beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the cabin also treats guests to breathtaking sunrises over Lake Ruth. Come enjoy all the UP has to offer at this charming lakefront retreat!
This cozy cabin features two comfortable bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed, and the second with two sets of bunk beds—one with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin on top, and the other with twin beds—making it ideal for families or groups. Guests can enjoy a full kitchen, a spacious living room, and a sunroom with beautiful lake views. Outside, relax on a sandy beach area, unwind in the large yard, or warm up in the sauna located in the garage. This cabin is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation by the lake.

The cabin is located in a remote, private area on Lake Ruth which is in Three Lakes, MI, which is about 5 miles west of the town of Michigamme. Michigamme has a gas station/market with a good selection of groceries. The town also has the historic Mt. Shasta restaurant, Moose Drop Inn and Sport Shop, and the Crock and Rocker gift shop. Three Lakes has the Carla's Bears Den bar/restaurant and Carla's Cozy Inn which are both open during the dinner hours. There is a public boat launch less than a mile from the cabin.
The cabin is centrally located in the UP to enjoy day trips to several UP attractions: (distances are approximate)

We chose this neighborhood because Lake Ruth is a hidden gem, offering a peacefulness that’s hard to find. The quiet serenity of the lake is what makes it so special, with its still waters creating the perfect backdrop for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Sitting out on the dock of our own home on Lake Ruth during the summer months, coffee in hand, surrounded by the beauty of nature, is an experience we treasure. When the owners of this cabin. Julie and Mike, approached us to help manage it, we knew their reasons for purchasing it mirrored our own love for Lake Ruth—its calm, relaxing atmosphere and the chance to escape and recharge. We’re thrilled to help them share this slice of paradise with others, inviting guests to soak in the same peace and beauty we’ve come to cherish.
