A wonderful house close to Bophut Beach!
The owner was not there during my stay. All my interactions were with the manager, Vladimir. Vladimir is a wonderful person.
I stayed at this house for a month. First off, the house is really clean and the cleaning services comes at least once a week! The pool is also clean!
So, the beaches of Bophut are a 10-15 minute walk away. You see, to get to the beach, you must cross the "ring road" that goes around the island. Crossing that "ring road" can be pure hell if there is a lot of traffic on it. Also, the sand at Bophut is not like the sand at Mae Nam, it is course - but once you have gotten use to it, it is quite enjoyable! The 7-Eleven, which will be your lifeblood, is also across the "ring road", but much closer than the beach. There is also a small fruit and vegetable market at the intersection of the ring road and the road that this house sits on. That market is amazing!
The neighbors were mostly enjoyable. There was a German-Italian couple next door that was a delight!
There is only one thing that I can say that got me slightly angry. No where in the property posting did I see anything that talked about separate electrical meter charges. You will be forced to pay separate electrical meter charges. A photo will be taken of the electrical meter at the start of your stay and at the end of your stay. You need to verify and negotiate this in advance. I used 1,146 KWh of electricity in my 30 days there.
I would definitely rent this house again if I come back!!
