About the host

Hi! I'm Carrie and I'm so excited to host you here at Paddler's Paradise! I am a Michigan native, and I love so many things about this state. My family and I love swimming and fishing here as well as taking our boat out for sunset cruises all summer long. While my family loves to have fun in the sun all day, one of my favorite things to here at the cottage is read by the water with a cup of coffee. Getting to share our cottage with others is a dream come true, and we can't wait for your family to make beautiful memories here.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is the perfect location on the lake. Being tucked away in a cove off of the main lake allows you to enjoy swimming and kayaking right in front of the cottage without being in the middle of the busyness that happens on the main area of the lake. It's quiet, secluded and peaceful. And when you're looking to turn up the fun, you're a five-minute ride away from the high energy fun on the main lake.

What makes this property unique

The thing that makes our cottage unique is the overall design inside. We wanted to make sure that our space felt cozy and welcoming while also feeling like you've been transported to Northern Michigan when you walk in the door.
