The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Lucia 803 have been tastefully decorated. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and provides plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the flat-screen TV. The couch even converts to a queen sleeper sofa for larger parties. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for four with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size stainless steel appliances, a side-by-side refrigerator, and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals. Right off the kitchen is a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The guest bedroom has two queen beds, flat-screen TV, and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Just steps from both the guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

It was a very nice condo, but it was advertised to have a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The couch did not have a pull out bed so we had to go buy an air mattress. Other than that it was great.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful and spacious condo. Great water views. Absolutely loved the size of the balcony. Very short walk to the beach from the building. Check-in was quick and easy, so was check-out. Guest services was very friendly and helpful.. Overall very clean. Because of covid I had planned on washing the bedding and using my personal blanket. I'm happy this was my plan. As I was taking the bedding off to wash, I found a small child's hoodie and what looked to be some sort of case (maybe for glasses) stuffed in between the mattress and the footboard of the bed. Clearly the bedding hadn't been removed after the previous guest. For that reason, I gave 4 stars for cleanliness. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this condo again.

The perfect getaway

My wife and I loved everything about this stay. The property was spacious and clean. We had our own marked parking space so we didn’t have to fight for a spot. The location was conveniently located to shops and Henderson State Park for some relaxing morning walks. The pool was spacious and beach was clean and convenient to have chairs and umbrella included.

The condo was spacious, beautiful, clean, and had great views of the gulf! Everyone was very friendly and helpful with check in. The property is spotless and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend St. Lucia at Silver Shells!

I’m rating this a 0 for the simple fact we had to leave early due to an emergency medical situation with my mom and they said travel insurance didn’t cover having to leave early. Will not be using this app again. Have some compassion people. Wasn’t looking for a full refund. Just for the 3 days we couldn’t stay.

Beautiful #803

Stayed here for the winter of 2017. Loved our stay and this unit. View was very good, coming back next year. Lots of upgrades and it shows it. Only problems were carpet Should be cleaned or replaced with tile. Also washing machine needs to be replaced as there is only one cycle. Couch was uncomfortable after us staying there for several weeks. Overall though, beautiful unit and view.

i loved the property with the views and choices of hot tubs and pools. This property is very secure with a key fob for every entrance inside the resort. Don't leave home without it!! There is an ocean food and beverage covered deck with all the amenities of a first class resort. The beach had plenty of room for personal chairs and equipment with room to play games. The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean, it didn't have very nice furniture and mattresses were awful. One would think the rental agency would inspect such.

Nice room, well furnished with good view of the Gulf

We liked many things about the room and the resort had some nice extras BUT we felt that it could be much better. The condo was adequate size, well furnished and had most of everything you would need. Resort extras included a nice fitness center, tennis and basketballcourts, and secure underground parking. The balcony was excellent and we really enjoyed sitting out there but beware it is not so quiet. There is construction going on between the building and the beach (which will eventually block some of the view) and the road noise is significant. What we felt was missing from this resort was organized activities for both adults and kids, especially around the pool. The pool was large but could use a slide for kids or some other fun activities for kids. Biggest disappointment with the condo was with cleanliness, especially considering that the agency charges a significant cleaning cost in the rental price. The carpets were not that clean and there were stains and what appeared to be mold in both showers.

A Place we could call Home

We just recently stayed in this unit and we loved it so much we are reserving it again in October. We loved the layout of the place along with how clean it was. Also, had a spectacular view of the Gulf and was in walking distance to the beach and many other amenities. It is the best place we have stayed at in Destin!

Amazing view, gorgeous condo!

This condo is beautifully decorated and has an absolutely amazing view of the gulf! It was perfect for my family as my kids "felt right at home"...having their own rooms, a lovely balcony and ample space to play in. We were able to cook certain meals together and also go out whenever we wished. The building is located near all of the happening places. The kids loved hanging out at the pool all day! It's nice to be able to rent a condo, feel like you're at home and still be able to take advantage of the resort amenities. We will definately visit again. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
