About this property
Newly renovated historic 1940s, 2 bedroom bungalow located in Downtown Brevard.
We are excited to also offer our home on VRBO. One of Brevard’s favorites. Located in the Lumberyard Arts District, 2 blocks from Downtown Brevard, our newly renovated bungalow maintains all of the charm of a 1940s cottage but with modern amenities. Our 2 bedroom bungalow features new appliances, a beautiful gas fireplace, and high quality furniture and bedding. The backyard oasis is shady and peaceful, with a soothing water feature, fire pit, and seating for four. One level, easy access, with driveway and detached one car garage for storing bikes and gear.

About the host
Hosted by Steven Kendrick

We have rented our home for years on the other platform, and are excited to now offer it on VRBO. We are from Charleston, SC and have a local co-host from Brevard who is wonderful.
Why they chose this property
The Lumberyard Arts District is Brevard’s coolest downtown neighborhood. Restaurants, breweries, live music, bike shops and more are just down King street. Close enough to walk to, but out of the way of the noise and parking. You are also a short walk to town for more restaurants, go to the movies, grab a Kilwins ice cream and endless shopping. And of course Brevard is right in between the Pisgah and Dupont mountains with amazing hiking, fishing and biking opportunities.
What makes this property unique
Our property is uniques for its central location but private back yard with fire pit and water feature. I am a builder and we have taken care to renovate the home with custom built cabinetry out of Asheville and all new furnishings and fixtures. And you will love the easy to light gas log fireplace!
