I rented this cute house for my siblings to stay in when they came to town to celebrate my birthday. I stayed there as well, so 6 folks total and all sleeping spots used. My few negatives:(1) No spare TP. (2) Broken floor lamp in a dark corner of the living room where a lamp was needed. (3) Weird intermittent thumping noise that started every night at about 10:30 pm. At first we thought it was the base from someone’s music, but then decided it sounded more mechanical. The positives: All of the beds were very comfy and the linens were nice. Plenty of quality towels. Well furnished and thoughtful touches throughout. The cute green galley kitchen was a tight squeeze for several cooks but it was well appointed and had everything we needed (except a hand mixer). We greatly enjoyed the neighborhood and pleasant backyard. I would definitely rent again! (except hand mixer). We greatly enjoyed I cof
We really enjoyed our stay in Houston. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and the outdoor area was perfect for getting some sun. The house is well-stocked, clean, and organized. We would book again!
Property is well appointed and fit our needs very well. The Houston Heights area is very eclectic and we enjoyed the location very much. Property management is excellent.
My daughter and I stayed in Houston over Thanksgiving. The home is very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is perfect. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. This is our second time staying in a house owned by this host (the own the one next door as well) and their communication is quick and friendly. We had one minor issue and it was fixed almost immediately. Will definitely be staying again!
The property was exactly as described in the listing, unlike other properties that I have stayed at. I was extremely pleased with this well equipped cottage and plan to use it again. For only a few more dollars than a hotel stay, we had considerably more space to stretch out in. One note, but not a complaint, being a home with older bones, there are not numerous electrical outlets for plugging in electrical devices. This may be an issue for more connected young people.
We were really impressed with the quietness of the neighborhood and the comfort of the house! The house is very well-equipped. We hope to stay here when we return to Houston.
We enjoyed this house, comfortable beds, nice shower, and great location. It was exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting area.
We loved staying here! This home is spacious, functional, thoughtful, and charming. The neighborhood is so sweet (and hip). The best part was during Hurricane Beryl - the power didn’t go out, and it didn't flood at all! We all felt safe and comfortable.
This is the second time we have stayed here. The home is in a great location - near the heart of Houston, but far enough out to not be right downtown. Lots of restaurants, recreation, and amenities nearby. The host's pride in her home is clear. It's clean and the beds are comfortable. It's great for a home base to run around the city or to stay in and relax.
The bungalow in The Heights was perfect for our needs. The beds were very comfortable, the two full bathrooms were updated with contemporary fixtures and had good water pressure. The location in the Heights was very convenient to restaurants and within walking distance to groceries. The nearby Kolaches were a delicious treat. Sasha was very communicative and supportive. I highly recommend this rental.
We love staying there, it’s perfect for my wife and I.
Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Only issue was music coming from the bars.
It’s a “10” !
Thank you!
We loved our stay at this heights home. Beds were very comfy and home was clean and organized. We came with kids age range 2-9 and we had plenty of room for our family. The hostess was very communicative and the home came with all that you could ask for. From extra towels and toilet paper, laundry and dish soap, to very nice toiletries, and more! Our kids also loved the playscape! On the weekend nights we could faintly hear some of the nearby restaurants/nightlife but with a little white noise it was no biggie;)
What a fantastic rental. The home is perfectly located to all things in Houston. Delicious places to eat and fun places to shop so close to the home, many of them so close you can walk to. The streets are safe for walking and biking. The home is well stocked for cooking, and the floor plan of the home makes it so nice for the family.
The reason we needed a place to stay is that our daughter was having surgery at MD Anderson on Monday. She wanted her family with before surgery. We are so grateful that the manager let her and her husband check in early after she finished her test. We arrived later and found the place wonderful. It was clean and a great neighborhood. Maggie’s boys are three and five and the place was perfect. Lizards to chase and a play set. The white winged just kept singing her song. Houston is scary but this is wonderful! We highly recommend it and when she has to go back for several days we will book again.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Heights bungalow. My daughter (5) and son (2) loved the toys at the property and proximity to great parks. My husband and I enjoyed how comfortable the place was. Highly recommend!
We needed a house for a weekend to celebrate a family event in The Heights and this house was absolutely perfect. Amenities are top notch, very clean and the host thought of everything and has notes everywhere to answer just about any question one might have! We will definitely be staying at Sasha’s properties again and again as our Son is Houston permanently now!
The property was clean and so, so cute! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bath had everything you could need!
They were very accommodating after we had to move our trip dates out a month because of an emergency surgery. We will absolutely rent this place again next time we're in Houston!
Beautiful home in great neighborhood with excellent hospitality
We were SOOO happy to come to this property that was very clean, well-maintained, pride and care shown throughout the house and yards. The host stopped by to make sure our needs were taken care of and she fixed a lock right away to help us. The house is well stocked everywhere: kitchen had pots, pans, plates, coffee/tea; bathroom had plenty of lush cotton towels, shampoo/soap/lotion, bedrooms had clean, classy sheets and beddings & pillow. We enjoyed the nice new bench in the front porch and the back yard with gravel stones and concrete blocks were a nice touch with the wooden deck and plenty of outdoor seating. It was truly a home away from home, but with a 5-Star, pampering feel. Highly, highly recommended, A+++!
