The 'Great Escape' Ultimate Ski-in-ski-out Winter Holiday and Summer Retreat

If you are looking for a winter or summer mountain vacation for multiple families, a work retreat, wedding, ski teams, or bringing many friends together, you've found the perfect chalet. The 'Great Escape' is situated at the very top of the Silver Queen chairlift in the area referred to locally as 'The Knoll'. We purchased this house 24 years ago due to its perfect location for all levels and ages of skiers, proximity to skating, tubing, and easy access to cross country ski trails. It is the perfect winter holiday location. There is no driving or even walking involved to ski in or out from this chalet (see photos). It is also a great place to base yourself for a summer vacation to hike, visit lakes in the valley, or mountain bike on the extensive trail network.

The 4300 sq ft recently renovated chalet is 3 levels. The upper level is comprised of a kitchen, dining area, hot tub, sauna, steam shower, bathroom, ski locker, boot room, and two living rooms. The large harvest dining table can sit 18. The mid-floor has 4 bedrooms each with private bathroom, bath and shower. Two rooms with queen beds, one room with two sets of bunk beds, and one room with a queen bed with a bunk above it and a bunk bed. The bottom floor has one room with two double beds and an open basement with two bunk beds. We also have two single mattresses that can be placed on the floor anywhere in the house for a total maximum sleeping capacity of 23.
