Simple cabin not far from George Washington Nation Forest

This cabin was just what I was looking for. The antique refrigerator and stove worked perfectly for food storage and for cooking our own meals. I was traveling with my dog and was happy to find a place that was pet friendly. I loved the simplicity of the Payne Cabin. The cabin and property was very clean and easy to find. Be sure to read the full description as there is no indoor plumbing, but the host has set up a very nice electric pump sink, an outdoor shower house, and a clean outhouse.I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

Why they chose this property

The Payne and Weaver cabins collectively sit on five acres at the base of Dundore Mountain, with access to hiking and biking trails and a serene nature setting with a babbling creek running through the property.

What makes this property unique

The cabins are named after the families that lived in them from 1930 to 1950 and raised their families in the one bedroom home. We breathed life into the cabins and added a few modern amenities and have turned it into a truly unique glamping experience.
