Step into a one-of-a-kind Alaskan escape at Wild About Anchorage, where bold midcentury modern design meets comfort and adventure. Soak in the rooftop hot tub under northern skies, craft your perfect brew at the high-end coffee bar, snap a selfie with Frostbite Frank, our resident Yeti, and unwind in the luxurious king suite with a private patio. From artistic touches like a custom mural and totem pole to luxurious amenities, this is Anchorage’s most distinctive and unforgettable place to stay.

0 minutes to the adjacent David Green Park with a playground for kids
2 minutes from Providence Hospital and University of Alaska Anchorage
5 minutes from Anchorage’s world-famous Moose’s Tooth Pizzeria
7 minutes from the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail
10 minutes from Downtown Anchorage and the Anchorage Museum

Living Room
The heart of the home is a cozy and inviting living space, thoughtfully designed for relaxation and entertainment. A 70" flat-screen TV is perfect for movie nights, while a plush West Elm couch and swivel chairs offer seating for six. Discover a nostalgic record player with albums by local Alaskan artists, or enjoy board games from the stylish sideboard framed by a rich walnut shiplap backdrop. The room’s centerpiece is a striking Totem Pole honoring the Haida tribe of Southeast Alaska, adding a unique touch to your stay.
Dining Room & Custom Mural
Adjacent to the living area, the dining room features a large extendable table that seats eight. The custom mural reflects our Wild About Anchorage spirit, showcasing a mountain scene with Frostbite Frank, our resident Yeti hiding in the Chugach Mountains—a fun detail for guests to find! Combined with seating for two at the kitchen island, the space accommodates up to ten guests for meals or gatherings.
Chef’s Kitchen
The light-filled kitchen is a dream for any cook. Equipped with two sinks, a gas range with a double oven, and quartz countertops, it’s perfect for preparing meals. High-quality tools, including Ginsu Chikara knives and Henckels pots and pans, make cooking a pleasure. Coffee enthusiasts will adore the dedicated coffee bar featuring an espresso machine, drip coffee maker, Keurig, pour-over, French press, AeroPress, and burr grinder. Natural light streams in from skylights and large windows, making this space as functional as it is beautiful.
Main Hallway & Bedrooms
The hallway off the living room leads to a full bathroom with a tub and shower, as well as three thoughtfully designed bedrooms:
Main Bedroom Ensuite: A luxurious retreat with a king bed, Helix Midnight mattress, and gold accents. Enjoy a private office space, direct access to a deck overlooking David Green Park, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity, and walk-in closet, which also houses the washer and dryer.
Second Bedroom: Across the hall, this cozy space features a queen bed, a full closet, and charming Alaskan-inspired decor.
Third Bedroom—Botanical Oasis: Located downstairs, this secluded bedroom is bright and playful, with a funky pink wall featuring forest creatures and plants. Just outside is a cozy reading nook, perfect for unwinding with a good book.
Rooftop Patio
The rooftop patio is the home’s crown jewel. Overlooking David Green Park, this space is perfect for gatherings or relaxing under the Alaskan sky. It features a dining table for six, lounge chairs, and a six-person Nordic Spa hot tub.
Prime Location
Nestled next to David Green Park, this home provides direct access to walking paths, green spaces, and a playground, making it ideal for families and nature enthusiasts alike.
Guest Access
You will have access to the entire property with exception of the garage and the downstairs unit (the building is a duplex). The upstairs unit gets it's own dedicated driveway for parking.
