The home has a modern elevator or you can take the gorgeous winding staircase. This home is filled with beautiful art on every level, as it was previously owned by the founder of the New Orleans School of Fine Art.

You're only seconds to Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, Cafe du Monde, the Mississippi River, tons of world-class restaurants, shopping on Chartres St., steps away from famous Royal St. art galleries and restaurants, and 1.5 blocks from Bourbon St. You get all the culture and excitement NOLA offers, but a serene quiet night's rest, too! You simply can't get a better location for the finest New Orleans experience. And this home sits directly across the street from the apartment building where Tennessee Williams wrote, "A Streetcar Named Desire."

Consider this townhome your home away from home while you visit New Orleans. This marvelous property features 2 huge king bedrooms with beds made by famous furniture craftsman . The master suite has a closet and two very comfortable swivel chairs with ottomans, and it has it's own balcony. The beds are made by famous furniture maker Ruppert Kohlmaier in both the master and guest bedrooms. The guest bedroom, also known as "The Moroccan Room," features a large armoire and two additional twin beds with a privacy curtain. It also comes with a butler's pantry, microwave, small refrigerator and coffee stand.

The house sleeps 6 people comfortably. There is a full-sized kitchen to cook your favorite New Orleans breakfast, lunch or dinner. The house also has a stackable washer and dryer and WiFi.

The living room has plenty of seating, a new glass wet bar, amazing artwork, and a 2nd level balcony. Remodeled into a Parisian parlor, you will love the gorgeous chandelier from Fisher Gambino, NOLA's most famous lighting company (Royal St.).

The house was built in 1840 and is designed in authentic New Orleans style, featuring front of house living areas and rear service areas.
