Newly renovated farmhouse, sophisticated, charming, comfortable. In short a great vibe!. The bones is a charming farmhouse but the open layout and crisp renovation give it a contemporary feeling.

The house is ideally situated, a 10-minute gentle walk to vibrant downtown Great Barrington. The house is minutes away from Butternut and Catamount, and a short walk to Lake Mansfield recreation trail, GB’s newest amenity.

The heart of the home is the eat in chef’s kitchen with high end appliances made delightful by bright daylight, especially in the morning. Adjacent to this area is a comfy and bright sunroom and dining area. There is a private TV room with a 60” tv and also a spacious living room, all elegantly appointed. In short, the layout of the space provides a variety of spacious rooms, privacy and openness depending upon your needs. There is also a large full bath and large bright laundry room with new washer and dryer on the main level. The entry to the house is through a gorgeous traditional enclosed porch with plenty of air circulation and great space to store ski gear apres ski.

There is space for 6 guests, upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a cozy office. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the corner room has a cozy twin bed. The TV room has a daybed for one. We’d like to caution that upstairs there is a point of low ceiling which you should be careful about, but such is the charm of a farmhouse.

In short, this, we have lived in the house and it is appointed and renovated to radiate a sense of grace, comfort and elegance.

It is a great ski house with both radiators and mini split heat so that you will be nice and cozy after being outside.

And by the way, this is the best ski year in memory!
