About this property
Modern Comfort in Historic Lewes. Sleeps 10-all in real beds in real bedrooms!
Located in the historic district, our home is an easy walking distance ( 10 to 15 minutes) or 3-minute drive to all that downtown Lewes offers - many fine dining and casual restaurants, local shops and historic sites. Set back a bit further from the street than most homes in the district and on a wider lot than most. you'll enjoy the wrap around porch for coffee in the morning sun or drinks in the evening. The deck on the back of the house also has a table and chairs as well as a gas grill. There is also plenty of grass for the tykes to play on.
The house has an open floor plan on the first level that is ideal for gatherings large or small. The front room has comfy seating around the gas fireplace, good for those cooler evenings. The dining room seats eight and there's room for an extra table as well if you have larger group. Next to that is the family room with leather couches and a retro chaise lounge that seems to fit everyone just right. There's a 52-in flat screen television with Chromecast access. The kitchen is very spacious and open to the family room. There's a peninsula with six bar stools as well as a table overlooking the backyard.
The kitchen is very well equipped with ample and new dishes, flatware, silverware, wine glasses, coffee mugs and much more. The pots and pans are newer and there are plenty of cooking utensils. In addition to a dishwasher, there's a toaster oven, microwave, blender, and a Keurig coffee maker that brews carafes and single servings. The laundry room with a washer, dryer and sink is adjacent.
Also on the first level is a bedroom with a queen bed and direct access to a full bath with tub and shower. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both upstairs bathrooms were recently renovated with tile floors and new tiled showers. Each bedroom has direct access to one of the bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a king bed, two of them have queen beds and the fourth bedroom has twin beds.
The Wi-Fi produces a strong signal throughout the home, There is central air conditioning with two zones as well as ceiling fans throughout for your comfort.
There are ample pillows and blankets for each bed as well as hand towels. Note that bath towels and linens are not provided. There are many local services that will deliver and pickup.
Beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler are provided for your beach days.
During the high season our minimum night stay is 7 days, with check-in and check-out on Fridays only.
We look forward to hosting you and we're confident you will enjoy your stay.
