Aloha, we would love to have you as our guests. The oceanfront townhomes are the closest units to the ocean in all of Kona! Enjoy fresh ocean breezes and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Sip coffee on your lanai in the morning while watching the dolphins and whales frolic. Unwind in the evening while enjoying amazing sunsets. Imagine watching the waves as you relax in the large walk in ocean front shower. This is a corner unit townhome so it is very bright with the ocean out back and a grassy lawn and tree to the side. No one above or below you! Please note that both bedrooms are on upper level with one full bath upstairs and the other on first floor.
The Surf and Racquet Club is gated community spread out over 16 beautifully landscaped acres. Our unit is far from Alii Drive so no road noise! This is also one of the few units that is not directly on parking lot so no cars parking or driving by front. We are approximately 20 feet from your reserved parking spot. You are steps away from the large pool and tennis/pickleball courts. Black Sand Beach is adjacent to the complex and lovely for a sunset stroll. The Kona Country Club golf course is on the other side of the property.
The complex is less than a half a mile from a shopping center that has grocery, movie theater, dining and shopping options.
We have stocked the townhome with everything you need for your stay including beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards!
High speed wifi and a smart TV to allow you to stay connected and stream your favorite shows. We have split AC units in each bedroom and the main living area. We have replaced the jalousie windows with solid pane which really allows the ocean views to pop!
This town home is truly the place for relaxation and romance! It is a far cry from most of the condos on busy Alii drive.
Please be aware that in the rare event of high surf, storm barriers may be raised at lanai and kitchen window. This would impact the view.

Great location condo

The condo is a decent size for a family of four. It is furnished very nicely with everything you need. The supplies in the kitchen and throughout are of good quality. Some of the nicest heavy silverware from any place I have stayed. It is nice that some leftover condiments are left for the next guest. The air conditioning is a big plus since it gets hot in the afternoon, and it helps drown out the loud surf during the night. The location is great, walking distance to many stores and restaurants. We saw whales every day and dolphins twice during our week there. I would highly recommend this place to vacation in Kona. The owners were great to work with and very quick to respond.

Ideal Location

This was our second, and best, trip to the Big Island. We loved being just a few feet from the water and spent many hours relaxing in the lanai. (It wasn't all relaxation since we saw many whales spouting and breaching.) The condo was perfect for us. Very comfortable bed, well outfitted kitchen, good air conditioning, plenty of room. The steep stairway was fine for us, but could be challenging for some people. The owners, Jim and Cyndie were terrific.

Great Place

Clean fully stocked with everyrhing you need. Beach within 2 min walk. Quiet at night. Very nice place to stay. Close to downtown, parking on site right outside your door. We would stay here again!

Incredible Location

We loved staying here. Great location on the island, as well as the ocean - it's right outside the patio and has the most incredible sunset viewing. The place had everything you need for the kitchen as well as for the beach (chairs, snorkels, masks, fins, boogie boards, umbrella). Even a handy cooler bag we were able to put our lunches in for the beach. The pool and pickleball courts were so much fun to have close by. The amazing proximity to the ocean also meant that when there was a huge wave surge, they had to shutter up our patio as the building was getting pummeled by waves. It was actually pretty exciting. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

Very nice condo on the waterfront. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets here, as well as many whale sightings. The condo itself was very clean, nicely furnished, and with a well equipped kitchen. All appliances seemed fairly new and functioned well. Good selection of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc.. Comfortable beds. The ocean facing second floor bathroom was also notable for the best view we’ve ever had from a shower!

The property is as described. It's a 15-min drive to Kona for shopping and a good place to swim. The sunsets from the townhouse were beautiful. The stairs in the townhome are steep and need to be navigated carefully.

Fabulous location,quiet and convenient location to shops

Breakfast and suppers on the lanai were wonderful. I loved sleeping with the windows open and hearing the waves. You even get ocean waves while taking a shower too. The townhouse was in a quiet community, but close to restaurants and shops. Very clean and well stocked spices pans and dishes. We would recommend this townhouse to anyone wanting a quiet stay.

Island getaway

This condo couldnt have been more perfect. The view, the quiet neighborhood, the ocean sites & sounds. It was all amazing and just what we needed for our time away. Loved this condo/ oceanfront with a fabulous view. Air conditioning was great and definitely needed! The condo was lovely! Such comfortable beds and pillows! The best ever!! The kitchen had everything we needed! Very short walk to the pool. The pool was great! It was large and had a large kiddie area. Would definitely return to this condo!

Hawaiian Coastal Paradise

Can’t say enough good about this up to date nicely furnished super clean cozy oceanfront condo. Stunning ocean panorama view on one side and gorgeous green mountains on the opposite. Enjoyed peaceful morning coffee on the patio with ocean waves and a variety of local birds. Gated resort is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. Very nice pool and tennis/pickleball areas. Complex has a short trail to walk along the volcanic coastline (no beach sand). Short drive from grocery and downtown Kona shops and restaurants and local beaches. This really checked off all our boxes for an ideal Hawaiian paradise visit.

Wonderful property in a great location

We stayed for 2 nights, and really enjoyed our time. The unit is beautiful, nicely updated with everything you could want. We didn’t use the pool and BBQs, but they are close by if you need. Tennis courts also available. Lovely view of sunset from the patio too. We plan to stay again for longer in the future, highly recommend this property!

Pros: Ocean views even inside your living room's couch Gated and quiet community Higher end Dishwasher Machine, and Washer and Dryer machines (regular sized, not the small kinds you see in small condos) Two separate full sized shower bathrooms Decent size kitchen Assigned car space close to Townhome Tennis/Pickle ball courts in front your unit Cons: Furnishings are dusty (due to the choice in wicker furniture) Found 1 bug in bedroom closet, Another upstairs bathroom sink Bath Towels are a bit worn and frayed Found one bedroom pillowcase damaged (maybe from prior washing?) Grout of the upstairs bathroom floor is dirty Mold found on the edges of the window curtain of the upstairs shower

Beautiful Villa Ocean View

Fabulous property. Great location, villa had everything we needed, comfortable beds, plenty of room to spread out. Wonderful kitchen, outdoor seating on the lanai overlooking the ocean and sunset views. Owner's were great to work with, good communication. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Time on the Big Island

We had a wonderful time on the Big Island. The condo interior was wonderful. The view from the lanai was amazing. We enjoyed our breakfasts and sunsets there while listening to the sound of the waves. The beds were very comfortable. The condo was located in a beautiful community right on the ocean and a short drive to the beach. Snorkeling at the beach was great.

Gorgeous Property!

Wonderful property with everything you need for a great family vacation. We saw whales and a school of spinner dolphins from the lanai. The only downside was that there was a high wave warning for 3 days of our stay where the lanai had to be shuddered; however, Jim was great and communicated with us the entire time. All in all, the waves put on a spectacular show for us and as they say, you can't control the weather. I would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and quiet location with amazing views

Great condo - clean, safe and well stocked. Plenty of extra touches such as beach towels, chairs, noodles, snorkel gear, cooler, ice pack, umbrella etc. Lots of amenities nearby as well. Hosts are friendly and proactively reached out to ensure everything was fine.

We live in Boulder Colorado and enjoy being out doors whether it is at the mountains or beach. We love the big island because it provides a multitude of outdoor activities on land and in the water.

Why they chose this property

We have always dreamed of owning a property in Hawaii that we could share with others. We choose this town home because there is nothing closer to the water and we love being able to hear and see the ocean from almost every room!

What makes this property unique

We are in a private gated community. The grounds are lushly landscaped and there are heiaus and petroglyphs from the ancient Hawaiians located right on the property. The Kona Country Club golf course abuts one side of the complex and sacred Hawaiian land with a black sand beach is on the other. This location is very quiet but still only 5 miles from downtown Kona.
