Mountain View Lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Sunapee State beach and boat launch and Sunapee Mountain hiking, ropes course, and mountain biking are all right around the corner!
The Acorn reflects its 1940’s origin (720 sq ft) but has a new kitchenette, updated bath, and a renovated, light-filled second floor sleeping area that provides 2 queen beds and a full-sized futon. Downstairs bedroom has 2 twins. Relax floating on the water, sitting on the dock, lakeside deck, or outdoor seating area with Solo stove, or enjoying the lake view from the screened porch. WiFi, AC (upstairs), and propane stove for chilly nights. TV, movies, and games along with bath towels and bed linens provided. Drinking water provided, bath water is from the lake. Great dining in nearby Newbury harbor or New London.
