HALSEY'S HAVEN--Very Fine Country 'Cottage' in a Superb Neighborhood.

This lovely home has numerous niceties. A very rare flat, roomy yard in which to play, a quiet community with meandering roads to stroll, and a big deck with lovely, long range views to relax, read and reflect--for starters. The main level consists of a big kitchen, fairly formal dining room, sunny living room with gas fireplace, sun deck with gas grill, one (king) bedroom with full bath and laundry. There's also a two car garage on this level. Upstairs is the master (king) bedroom with its private balcony and roomy bath. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds. The third bedroom also has a queen. These two bedrooms share a bath. Downstairs is a den with queen sleeper sofa, a charming kitchenette and dining/card table plus another full bath. Fun includes wi-fi, three tvs ., air hockey and foose ball games. With sleeping for up to 10, easy access year 'round, less than 10 minutes to Ski Beech, and numerous summer recreational amenities--this home is a prize! . For ski season, 4WD or snow chains may be necessary to reach this location. Agent is NC licensed real estate broker. Renters will have to sign and abide by NC standard Vacation Rental contract.

Perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The view is amazing and the house was so well equipped with everything our big group needed. Large living areas all the way around, plenty of space! The host was pleasingly quick with responses and helpful. It felt like home away from home and we’ll definitely look into staying there again! ❤️

Relaxing weekend with family

We had an enjoyable weekend with family. Midpoint location because some came from Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia. House meet our needs and exceeded my expectations. View is awesome.

Couples Snowboard Trip

Plenty of space for the 12 of us and the views were amazing! Less than 10 minute drive to beech mountain made it so to easy to come back to the house and relax in between snowboard sessions. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Cindy was very helpful with any questions we had. Thanks for everything!

Perfect location!!

Absolutely loved the location of this house. You could visibly see Sugar Mountain Ski Resort as well as Beech Mountain Ski Resort. We were able to walk to the free sledding hill at Beech to go sledding! The layout of the home was amazing and the amenities were great! It was a little hard to get in touch with the property manager, as she wouldn't respond for hours. The check in and out process wasn't straight forward. The house was left unlocked for check-in but that wasn't clear to us in the information sent. The checkout process said to leave the key in a drop box at a property down the mountain, but a drop box didn't exist. I advised the owner to update the process. Other than that, it was amazing and I would definitely enjoy going back!!!
