PARKING: Four cars will fit in the driveway. There is also plenty of street parking if you have more vehicles. No RVs, trailers, or buses are allowed to be parked at the property. Vans are ok. The garage is used for storage and is not available for parking during your stay. We do not supply EV chargers at the property. If you have an adapter and plan to charge your car during your stay, please let us know as there will be an additional fee.
TELEVISIONS: There are remotes that are labeled for every TV in the house. If the remote is lost/missing, there will be a $35 fee to replace it.
TOWELS & LINENS: Please ensure that all towels and linens remain at the property. There will be a charge of $20-$30 for each item (e.g. towels, pillows, blankets, sheets) that is missing or needs to be replaced due to damage.
PLUMBING: Please only flush toilet paper in the toilet. All toilets are checked to be in working order prior to check-in. Plungers are located in each bathroom. Guests assume any responsibility for the cost of a rooter service if the toilet backs up due to flushing an item that clogs the system during your stay.
SAFETY: Please do not tamper with or remove smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, or fire extinguishers. Tampering with smoke detectors will result in a $100 fine.
SURVEILLANCE: Blink cameras are at the door and the front of the property for your safety. Guests will also find motion sensor lighting on the property.
WIFI: The home has high-speed Wi-Fi available. Please do not unplug the modem as it will cause a service disruption.
EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE: During times of heavy snow, guests may see workers shoveling to clear walkways. A shovel is also provided at the property. During the spring/summer months, guests might see workers watering the flower bed or weeding the yard. Should we need to access the interior of the home for any reason, the host will message the guest first.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM. Excessive noise is subject to cancellation of your stay without a refund.
NO PARTIES: Absolutely No Parties or Events. Please let the host know if you plan to have extra visitors coming by other than the registered guests. No additional guests are permitted to stay in the house without prior arrangement. An extra guest fee of $25 per unplanned person per night will apply. A fine of $500 per party/event will be charged.
PETS: If you are traveling with your dog, kindly ensure that they do not bark persistently. In case a neighbor lodges a complaint regarding barking and the issue is not addressed, you may be required to leave the property. In such a situation, the rental fee for the remaining days will not be refunded.
Please clean up after your pets in the yard and do not let pets on the furniture. I have provided a bucket and pooper scooper to clean up the messes and blankets to cover the furniture. Additional fees may apply or forfeiture of security deposit required if messes are not cleaned, if furniture gets damaged, or for unapproved pets.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING: A fine of $250 will be imposed for smoking inside the house. Any items damaged with smoke odor will be charged to the guest at replacement value. If smoking outside, cigarette butts must be disposed of and not left on the property. A fine of $50 will be charged if cigarette butts are found on the property.
FIREPLACE: The wood burning fireplace in the basement is not functional, please do not use it. We provide electric fireplaces that can be used for your comfort. Please review all safety instructions carefully before use! Plug the electric fireplace into the wall only and do not place any items within 2 feet of the electric fireplace. There is a $35 replacement fee for all lost remotes.
OUTDOOR GRILL: When you are done using the grill, please be sure to turn off all knobs, turn the propane off, and clean the grill. We have supplied cleaner under the sink in the kitchen. Do not cover the grill until it has cooled off.
CHECK OUT: Check-out is strictly enforced at 10:00 AM. We will do our best to accommodate late check-out requests. A $150 fee will be incurred for late check-out without advance notice. If the guest is more than two (2) hours past check-out time (10:00 AM), then the guest will be charged $199 as the base rate for the remaining day, but the guest is still required to vacate immediately. If the guest stays for any un-booked/reserved nights, there will be a $500 per night charge.
CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS: Please do not strip the beds! We ask that you kindly bag up trash/recycling and put it in big trash cans in the driveway on the side of the house, wash dishes in the sink/dishwasher, place all used towels in the provided laundry baskets, lock all doors and windows, and make sure any messes made by your furry friends are disposed of in the trash can we have supplied in the backyard. The property is cleaned between stays, but cleaning supplies can be found under the kitchen sink if you need them during your stay.
REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE: Please notify me if anything is broken during your stay or when you check-in. If you move any furniture, please put it back. Please understand that furniture is replaced as needed and might not match the photos in VRBO exactly. If there are emergency maintenance issues, I reserve the right to enter the property. I will call or text before entering.
I am not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, or the loss of personal belongings that may occur while on the property. By accepting this reservation, you agree to comply with ALL House Rules. It is also agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to the premises. Should you leave anything, notify me immediately and I will do my best to recover the item. I hope that you have an enjoyable stay at our home!
