Very cute, cozy, and convenient. Has its own driveway and right near the heart of downtown Dubuque, easy walking distance in good weather. Would stay here again if back in the area.
The property worked out well for my family’s vacation; the accommodations were as described. Communication with the host was great; I would recommend this property for others wanting to stay in the Dubuque area.
Townhome was lovely and very comfortable! Great location--easy to walk to downtown Dubuque. Host was very responsive. Had a great few days together as a family, showing the kids some of the places and restaurants we've enjoyed in the area over the last several years.
We so enjoyed our stay in Dubuque. The city has so much to offer. The home was well-appointed - had everything we needed. Very tasteful. Comfy beds. Very clean. Great weekend.
THANK YOU!
A lovely rental property. Highly recommend this rental and location. Accommodations in rental were nice and above average. Convenient to historic sights and restaurants. Host was responsive to questions.
College friends got together for a fun weekend of shopping and sightseeing. Host was responsive to our needs. Very nice to have 3 bedrooms and two bath for 5 of us.
We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and ease of checking in. This is a quaint old house with large bedrooms. Once we found the fans we were able to cool the upstairs rooms nicely.
Located right downtown in Dubuque, this is perfectly secluded on a side street up against the bluff. Quiet and idyllic. The house is well apportioned, which suits itself well to making meals in. But it’s also close to several good places to eat. The beds and linens were comfortable and the furniture was all in good shape and well suited to a gathering of up to six. An added bonus was the bathroom on the first floor, which is different from many of these kinds of row houses.
The home was lovely and so close to everything downtown! We appreciated the Peacock app for watching the Olympics and other movies. The back deck was super peaceful and a nice place to relax. My only wish is that the home would have had blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The sun is SO bright in the morning and even at night there is a lot of light.
Lovely, recently updated brick Dubuque townhouse in the shadow of the cathedral and at the foot of the bluffs. Easy walk to Main Street, Fenelon Place elevator. Older tourists note: all 3 bedrooms are up a set of very steep, only partially banistered, stairs.
Property was in an excellent location to enjoy all of Dubuque. Walking distance to several breweries and restaurants and easy access for day trips to Decorah and Effigy Mounds. The fire pit area was great and there was plenty of wood provided by the owner. The only drawback was the lack of comfortable furniture; the couch was fine but when there were three of us, it was difficult for all of us to be comfortable. Really a great place for a stay in Dubuque.
This property is awesome! Great location close to Dubuque restaurants and activities, 20 minute drive to Galena. We felt right at home with all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms are so cute and beds super comfy. Jeff was an excellent host. We had a small issue and he responded right away to help us. I only wish it had been warmer outside to enjoy the cute patio and fire pit. Highly recommend this property!
This was an outstanding property-- couple blocks from downtown eateries and shopping and off the street parking was a bonus. The unit is nicely updated, very quiet and the queen bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. We didn't need the 2 additional bedroms, but used one of the extra spacious closets with plenty of hangers. The kitchen was stocked well with pots, pans and utensils. Jeff was quick to respond to questions and gave us some local dining recomendations. We stayed a week and would recommend the unit to anyone who enjoys being in downtown locations. A plus was the Saturday Farmers market--- loved it.
Thanks Jeff
Great historic property that has been nicely updated. Plenty of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The weather didn’t cooperate, so we didn’t get to use the back deck area. May have to return in the summer to enjoy that space.
