About the host
Hosted by Bob Owen

We were married in Phippsburg and have summered here for decades. Our summer home is just down the road from the 21-acre property on which these cottages are located, so we are nearby if needed and we know the area and its attractions intimately.
Why they chose this property
Phippsburg is an undiscovered, out of the way gem one hour north of Portland. It is sparsely populated but has some beautiful natural features, including Maine's biggest beach (Popham Beach State Park - 5 miles away). Although feeling remote, the attractions of Bath and Brunswick are an easy drive.
What makes this property unique
Both of these cottages are rustic and quiet, but updated, refurbished and well equipped with new appliances.
