Everything we would need in this beautifully decorated house. The pool was an added bonus for our grandchildren and our pleasure. A beautiful vacation!
Our family of 7 loved the amenities of this house. It actually is even nicer in person. Large living room, dining room, and open kitchen. There are multiple bathrooms both downstairs and upstairs. The pool was an added bonus after a beach day or as a replacement for the beach. Owners were super responsive in helping with an extra house key, and a few other requests to help with the ease of our stay. The location is perfect, just off the main drag in town, which allowed us to walk everywhere or quickly jump on the bike path. We hope to come back again.
I grew up going to Rehoboth to a family house in the Pines down in the first block. I wanted to be close to my old haunts. This spot is right off Columbia Ave. in about the 5th block. It is right in the middle of everything as the VRBO description states. Initially when we pulled in, I was a little concerned the location would be busy and loud. It is busy but not loud. The house is well and thoughtfully constructed, so it is QUIET. Easy access to EVERYTHING - walk to the beach, boardwalk, shopping, coffee shop, breakfast spot, farmers market. Short drive to dining and shopping options on Coastal Hwy and in Lewes. Columbia Ave. itself is very busy during the season, so if you would like to avoid traffic, cut over to Henlopen Ave. and walk to the beach that way. The house is lovely and comfortable. The pool is a lot of fun. The property manager is responsive. You will need to rent linens. I recommend 227 Rent. Make life easy on yourself and pay an extra $30 to have your linens delivered as you arrive and picked up as you depart.
Everything felt clean, the rooms were spacious and the pool was beautiful. We especially loved the screened in porch for the kiddos. The location was perfect for the market and for coffee and breakfast spots and not too far from the boardwalk. We absolutely loved our stay.
We stayed here for a long weekend getaway for a group of friends. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. We loved the screened-in porch and pool area. The location is great- walkable to shopping, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We did a little walk/hike on Gordon’s Pond trail too. Highly recommend!!
What a fantastic place. Photos do this place no justice. Great place and literally walking distance to everything! Will definitely stay again next trip !!! Thank you Stephen.
Lovely property - description and photos were spot on. Loved having a private pool (and it was very clean)! Perfect of our family of 4 and grandparents. Very convenient to walk to shops and restaurants.
One warning when parking in front of the property - we got a parking ticket for parking less than 10' from the intersection, so be aware.
Unfortunately, the property was not up to par. I say this because we have stayed here before. This time we arrived to a broken screen porch door, broken dinning room chair, broken lamp in bedroom, broken garbage disposal, broken washing machine…. To name a few things. The property manager was a delight and very helpful but these is only so much he could do. Sad to say this property was not what it was, especially considering how much you pay for a lovely house. Disappointing!
Location for our all adult family was perfect. Having 2 parking permits was great. Having our own pool was fun. The only thing I would suggest changing is the WiFi speed. The WiFi lagged just trying to watch a movie. We had a wonderful time and the house was big enough for everyone.
Great house but everything else left more to be desired.
The house was very nice.
The listing did not make it clear there would be no sheets, towels, handtowels, wash clothes, soap, paper towels, toilet paper. We had to make a supply run for the basics. There was one trash bag left, and we were required to take out the trash… you think there would be additional. Barely any soap left - had to go get more. One roll of TP left - for 9 guests. House was somewhat dirty and clearly hasn’t been kept up for awhile. Moved one of the chairs and the leg came off - clear it had been broken for awhile and just shoved together without fixing. While the owner did call the evening before to let me know these items didn’t exist, it wasn’t advertised in the listing which is a huge bummer. Great and convenient area but wouldn’t rent again.

Great house, great location
A group of our friends (and kids) stayed here for the weekend and it was great. The pool was a nice bonus, a little chilly for the adults as it’s not heated and early in the season but it didn’t bother the kids at all. Convenient to the beach, about a 10/15 minute walk and just about a 5 minute walk to the Main Street with lots of cute boutiques, bars/restaurants. One downside was one ‘room’ to sleep 10 was in an open landing so one couple didn’t have an actual room- would work for older kids but not great for the adults.
Overall, a nice property. Difficulty getting in touch with owner or property manager prior to stay. AC to upper floor not working when we arrived, but service techs arrived quickly and spent about 2.5 hrs fixing. House is lovely and a short walk to town, but several furnishings beginning to show wear and tear. pool unheated
Overall, this was a pleasant, nicely decorated, and well-appointed home. There is the usual wear & tear one would find in a rental (torn screen on patio, stained furniture, and a master bath tile that could use a deep clean). We didn't realize the home was located directly behind the Royal Farms, so I imagine during peak season, this area might get busier than we experienced. However, having a convenience store nearby was, well, convenient!
Owner is very responsive. A night time rainstorm clouded the pool and left debris. The owner immediately responded. He had a pool company service the pool and, by the time we returned from the beach, we were able to use the pool for our afternoon and evening swims!
Very spacious home with beautiful pool. We loved the location being right by the playground. The map is slightly deceiving, you are literally next door to the quick mart (forgot actual name), but on map it looks like you’re in the middle of the street with homes on both sides. It didn’t bother our family at all because the house is set up nicely that when you’re inside/by the pool you wouldn’t even know it was next door. Egg is a great restaurant very close and Rehoboth ave is right behind the home so quick walk to shops/restaurants/etc. The house is well equipped and has a great screened in porch. Enjoy!
Excellent spot for a family get away. The pool/outside area is a perfect spot to hang out when you're all beached out for the day. The house is big, plenty of room and space.

Beach vacation during Covid
The house is clean, well appointed and has all the amenities that you will need to have a relaxing week at the beach. The location is a bit deceiving when you look at the map from the VRBO site. The house is directly off the roundabout and behind the Royal Farms market- which is convenient and at time traffic heavy. From the map, it looks like the house is a block further up in a quieter area. With that said, having the 2 parking passes was great because we would drive to Duvalle Beach and park there. That beach was far less congested than the main areas off of Rehoboth Avenue. The communication with the property manager could have been better. I had to reach out multiple times to find out how to access the property. I thought that we would receive check-in instructions at least a week before arrival, but I had to be persistent to get that information. Also, there were not any wifi instructions noticeable in the house. I had to text the PM several times to get that. However. Once he did respond, he was very friendly and cooperative.
We loved this house and it’s location. The house is spacious, well cared for and beautiful and allowed our family of 4 adults and 2 kids to spread out comfortably. The pool was an absolute delight. We loved
being able to walk nearly everywhere and the property management was attentive and helpful when we had a couple of questions. We feel that this was our lowest stress and best-ever family vacation and we hope to return to this house again in the future.
Our party included six adults and two children. The online photos of the pool look small but our grandchildren, ages 6 and 9, absolutely loved it. It was a perfect size for them to play and practice swimming. The “deep” end was just over the 6 year old’s head but parents and grandparents had no anxiety about safety as we watched them and sat around the pool.
The house is roughly 7 blocks from the beach. The owners provide two parking passes that let us park for free at a community lot at the end of a street that borders the house. It provides easy access to the beach and parking was never a problem.
Our adult children liked the proximity of the house to many restaurants and shops. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. It has a very well appointed kitchen.
My only complaint is the lack of a rental office and associated staff to address the check in process and any problems that may arise. (We had no problems on our trip) We have been long time visitors to the outer banks of NC and such support service is routine there. Perhaps it is not available in Rehoboth Beach.
