RECENTLY RENOVATED! Our vacation home in Lakeville is the perfect retreat for several couples or a large family to escape to in any season. We've furnished the home with a mix of antique and country modern furniture and paid attention to every detail. Soaring high ceilings with skylights and windows throughout provide an open, bright, and spacious feel. We also have two cribs, and four twin beds in a kids room with blackboard paint, a ping-pong table, and a playhouse. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We had a great time at this house. Great layout, lots of space. Played a lot of ping pong in the garage. Recommend to all. Homeowners were very responsive to any questions we had.

Great home for multi-generational family!
Beautiful home in a gorgeous area. Being from SoCal we enjoyed waking up to deer and wild turkey. Although it feels very rural it is close to many amenities and schools. It slept our multi-generational family of 9 very comfortably. Highly recommended!

Lovely property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming home in the middle of the woods. When we pulled up, deer were grazing on the lawn and wild turkeys were roaming the property. Well equipped, comfy beds, it was just perfect for our family. Russell was the most responsive, easy to deal with host! He gets 5 stars. You will not be disappointed with this home away from home.

Salisbury wedding
Down for my daughters wedding at Salisbury School and could not have worked out better with the house. Just perfect for our 3 families. Big open spaces, very comfortable and SOOOOO quiet. Russell was excellent with great communication. Outstanding deck out back for relaxing. Blue tooth speaker set up, inside and out. Great open dining/kitchen area. Huge TV room. Can’t go wrong if you are in the area with need for family(s) room. Would stay again in a heartbeat. All Good.

Great family retreat
Our family of five spent another great weekend in this home. Kids love the trampoline and exploring the woods and the direct tv really satisfies any of our rainy day needs. Perfect location.

Beautiful home! Peaceful stay
This house is wonderful!! It's beautiful and spacious, tucked away in a calm and peaceful part of town. Sitting on the back porch you are completely surrounded by nature and only hear the birds and squirrels. The house is very comfortable and has everything you could need for a lovely stay with family or friends. We didn't have children with us but I can imagine it would be perfect for families as there is a play room, trampoline, and kids house. The photos are accurate and Russell is very responsive and helpful - he even called the morning of check-in to see if we had any questions/concerns. Highly recommended and hoping we can return soon in the future!

Perfect family getaway
Location location location! My family stayed here for a long weekend and loved the location which is equidistant to Salisbury and Millerton. The yard provided tons of exploring for our young children and the trampoline was an added bonus! The house was very clean and provided all we needed as a family!

About the host
Hosted by Russell Tencer
I am the founder and CEO of United Wind, a wind energy project developer based in Brooklyn, NY. I live with my wife Effi and our 3 toddler boys, Noah, Jude, and Leo in NYC, and we escape for weekends when we can to our vacation home in beautiful Lakeville, CT.
Why they chose this property
The house is wired for surround sound throughout the first floor and outside on the deck, works with Bluetooth. There is a ping-pong table in the 2 car heated garage and there are 2 more little houses on the property, a shed with kids outdoor toys and firewood, and a playhouse with a little deck.
