[LOCATION] -The house is located in a residential part of town, so there is no restaurants or bars nearby. And the closest metro station is 1 mile away (30 min walk) across the bridge.
We live in a predominantly African-American neighborhood, which is composed of residential apartments and mixed-income housing nearby. It is not in a gentrified area like other parts of DC.
[OTHER GUEST(S)] - By booking, you are stipulating that you agree to maintaining a very low noise level on the main floor, taking into account and consideration the comfort and tranquility of those occupying the basement guest unit.
Strict quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
The basement is a totally separate space and will likely be rented. You might hear someone in the basement if you are on the 1st/ground floor.
[TEMPERATURE] - the house has central air conditioning and we ask that guests leave the temperature setting since it also impacts those in the basement.
[IMPORTANT] - Before booking, please read through the list of amenities available, and note that the home does not have laundry or dishwasher.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the top two floors of the house, and the enclosed front porch. The basement is off limits.
Other things to note
In the interest of fostering a pleasant stay for all occupants, we respectfully request your conscientious consideration of noise levels, particularly on the ground level.
