About the host
Hosted by Taryn & Bertus Engelbrecht

Taryn & Bertus Engelbrecht, owners of Umvangazi Rest in Marloth Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa. We love the bush veld and wild life interaction.
Why they chose this property
Umvangazi Rest is located in the southerly part of Marloth Park and is privately situated. You have views of the park land / bush veld with many animals coming by for a visit. It provides tranquility and relaxation and is a perfect spot for family holidays or romantic getaways.
What makes this property unique
The unique setting of the house and its design is what made us fall in love with the place. It provided privacy from the hustle and bustle and time for relaxation and rejuvenation. You don't even need to set a foot in your car to go for a game drive as they come to you. That said, it is also fun to pack a picnic basket and take a drive through the game park to find that perfect view spot into the Kruger National Park, who knows you might just be lucky and spot that lion or leopard.
