About this space
A Sat. - Sat rental Loon Sound Forest Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Our guests have access to beautiful Toddy Pond by the way of a short walk down our lane. Our guests have free use of all our kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and row boat! The studio cottage is nestled in the woods complete with visiting deer in the back yard. Both a front porch and a screened in back porch allow for lots of opportunity for relaxing outside. There is a hammock, and lots of privacy.
The space
The cottage is one large space with a private bathroom. This delightful cottage has an extremely comfortable queen size bed. The cottage has a full kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, spices and all the details you need in a kitchen. The cottage is cozy yet very spacious. The backyard has a firepit and outdoor furniture for relaxing. There is a front and back porch. The roads are well groomed dirt roads lined with forest, a great place for a quiet walk or run. Guest have full access to the pond which is a short walk down the lane. A perfect Maine getaway!

Loon Sound Forest Cottage is a private home in a lovely setting of mixed hardwoods and pines. There is plenty of parking and a wrap around drive for easy access. The neighborhood is quiet, the roads are well groomed Maine gravel great for running or a nature walk. The property is just 3 miles from Great Pond Mountain for great hiking.
Other things to note
Our guests often find themselves at Newbury Neck for a great lobster dinner and enjoying the twilight on the Carrying beach. The Monday night steel band consorts in Blue Hill are a "must see". Maureen and Rob are available for visitor suggestions anytime.
