Region 15 is a peaceful, serene, remote jungle-feel area without actually being remote at all, leaving you just a short car ride away from the infamous beach road. Areas of Region 15 are currently undergoing major expansion, so construction and bumpy unpaved roads are not uncommon.
Less than 10 minutes in the other direction takes you to La Veleta, a highly-sought after area of Tulum with many vibrant restaurants and cafes, and jungle-studded paths open to wander. Equally as close is Aldea Zama, offering access to the exclusive hub of residence inside. A few minutes further you will find yourself in Tulum centro, the heart of the action of this vibrant town. Vehicle rental is a suitable option, although we recommend renting scooters for a more flexible and exhilerating method of transportation around the area. It is very residential, so only surrounding nature can be found within walking distance.
