Bring the whole family to this peaceful, spacious, net-zero home! With 3 large bedrooms & 3 full baths, this solar-powered home is only 5 mins to Biltmore & the Parkway and 10 mins to downtown Asheville. Your host is a 10+ year Superhost who is new to VRBO :).
With an inviting living space, full kitchen, and an outdoor patio with a mountain view, this will be your perfect place to relax and retreat while exploring our beloved Asheville.
The two king bedrooms are upstairs and have full bathrooms attached. There is a main closet in the upstairs hallway including an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, extra towels and more. The queen bedroom with desk is on the main living floor with the living room and kitchen and has a full bathroom just outside the bedroom door. The main living floor closet has extra dining chairs for your use as well.
This home is Unit 2 of a duplex. Your space shares a firewall with the other unit, making it extremely quiet! We have had no issues with sound from folks in the other unit.
Did we mention that the home is solar-powered? With solar power and an electric vehicle (EV) charger, you get power directly from the sun when you charge up during the day. Over the course of one year, this property will offset the equivalent of planting 56 trees and letting them grow and capture carbon for 10 years!

I have lived in the mountains of Asheville, NC for over 20 years and grew up in downtown Atlanta, GA. I am a musician, parent of two littles, wife, and friend. I love my band, the library, listening to music, hanging out with my family, tending my garden, and going to art shows of all kinds. I have been a host on that other BNB site :) since 2014 and love welcoming people to our little city full of vibrancy and incredible outdoor adventures.
Why they chose this property
It's so wonderful to be 5 mins to the entrance of Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway! I love that you can peek out at the mountain ridge but still be so close to everything.

Firstly, is solar-powered and newly built! We have an EV charger so you can literally charge your electric vehicle with the power of the sun. We build this space all with the lens of your experience being restful, relaxing, and net zero!
