Amazing property

Wonderful property in a fantastic location for access to Hendersonville, Asheville and Biltmore. With a large family and many kids in our group the property was perfect - we had a loud/kids house and a quiet/no kids house so that non-parents could decompress. Loved it!!!!

Perfect family weekend

What a joyful weekend! Our family stayed here for 3 days in July . Everything was as described, our host communicated so well and checked in along the way. They helped us find ideas on what to do around the area, so nice! The property is gorgeous, the houses are well appointed. The set up is great, lots of space and privacy. We just really enjoyed our stay and are thankful for the memories!

This place was awesome

We celebrated my wife’s 30th birthday with a group of our friends and we couldn’t of asked for a better place. We didn’t want to leave. The group even talked about making this place an annual trip. We will definitely return

Poor is too good a rating for this main house rental at Little Willow Falls,

Upon our arrival Oct 2, 2014 we came into a home that was dusty and dirty, outside deck off main bedroom had a screw sticking up in the wood deck, the screens and ledges were filthy dirty, the table was filthy I had to clean it and the rag was black afterwards. he fan was inoperable in the main bedroom. The stove was inoperable in the kitchen as wall as the ice machine broken, we had no ice for 2 days till the handyman showed up with the ice since the property manager Suzie had personal issues of importance and could not deal with our problems, no one came until we asked them to show us how to turn on the lights outside because it was in the woods and a very dark property, and we did not know how to turn on the Jacuzzi either it was not in a spot where you could notice is, it was over treated with chlorine and when you opened the cover the chlorination fumes could make you choke. The property is all stairs, up to the home 4 different stairs ways up to the Jacuzzi many stairs, they do not show this on the internet and if you are older or have knee issues or hip issues you are basically done, they never asked us if we were able to handle a lot of stairs, all the stone steps were slippery and covered with moss. There was a staple in the wood floor sticking up and my friend snagged his toe on it and it was bleeding. The inside and outside had never been washed off or dusted anywhere , under the TV set I went to get something that fell and I came up with a wad of dust, the familyroom where the TV was located had only one chair to sit in there was no where else for my friend to sit with me and watch TV, the home was badly insulated and damp and dank and we couldn't keep out the cold when the temp dropped to 50 degrees. There was a drawer in the master bed closet dresswer that would not close and stuck out 6 inches and you couldn't walk past it with out hitting it because the closet was narrow, so I had to take the drawer out and lay it next to the dresser. The property manager told us that down the stream there was a place to wade in in the stream, there was not such a place the water was only 5 inches high over pebbles and rocks. Then the worst happened, we told that 3 adults were staying adjacent to our main house in another rental, the bungalow , well there were 3 guys on a highschool reunion but friends showed up and then there were 6 cars outside and a dozen people partying at 4:30 AM at the Jacuzzi waking us up.

Picture perfect!

Amazing home with beautiful, well-put-together decor. Our teenage kids enjoyed the smaller cottage while the adults stayed on the main one. You have to stop and enjoy every bit of the outdoor areas because there is so much attention to detail everywhere. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you possibly need.

Large family get together

This property was simply awesome ! Their were 16 of us and we never felt cramped. So peaceful. The waterfall/creek and the trails were both fantastic both night and day (due to exceptional String lighting ). Hot tub was great. Inside both homes were beautifully detailed and everything you need is provided. Awesome experience

The perfect getaway place for my family

This was the place my family came together to celebrate the life of my daughter. It was so relaxing and everyone had their own space. Grandkids loved the cottage and the trails were used by all. Hendersonville and Flat Rock are quaint towns to wonder about and enjoy the restaurants. It was just what we needed.

Willow Falls 50th wedding anniversary celebration.

We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary at Willow Falls. This place is truly magical and amazing! Michele was very on point with communication and her property is like having your own sanctuary. The roaring of the waterfalls and the trail on the property was very inviting. Needless to say, we will be revisiting Willow Falls in the future.

Pure Magic

The best way to describe this property is “magic”. It was everything, and then some. I will stay at this property again and again. Everything that we needed was made available to us, and comfortably fit a group of 10 adults with space to spare. This will be one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Thank you, Michele, for your hospitality and for sharing this little slice of heaven!

Bike race for 15 in early September. Amazing kitchen for feeding that crew. Hot tub and fire pit under the stars post race were perfect. Clean, casual, compfortable sleeping arrangements for married couples and singles. Will definitely be renting this same place again.

College Roommates' 40-Year Reunion Celebration

This property served as the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend for our 40-year reunion. The property is beautiful inside and out. The owners have certainly gone the extra mile to make sure that guests enjoy their stay. We loved the cozy cottage decor, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with our coffee listening to the waterfall. The property is so close to Hendersonville, but you feel like you are tucked away in your own little woodland wonderland! We did see a wonderful production of "The Dixie Swim Club" at Flatrock Playhouse. Susie was wonderful to work with--definitely five stars!

Great place for events and family gatherings

We enjoyed having a very small wedding with our immediate family at Willow Falls. The houses were perfect for three nights of family time. The only downside we found is that the awning on the front porch is not available for visitors' use, which means that outdoor dining at the tables can only be planned for when there is no rain in the forecast. Outside of that, we appreciated Susie's great help and found the property nearly perfect for what we were looking for.

We loved these homes for our family getaway!

My family absolutely loved this property. It is nestled in the woods less than 10 minutes from downtown Hendersonville, NC. The landscaping and waterfall are beautiful. We spent our days out and about, but always ate in for dinner because we wanted to enjoy the property. Everyone in the family said they want to come back.

So Beautiful and Tranquil!

What a wonderful place! These two homes are so beautiful and the surrounding grounds are spectacular. Our daughter got married at Jeter Mountain Farms (a quick 15 minute drive away) so this was the perfect place to accommodate our family and friends. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Our only regret was when we had to leave! We will be back!! I highly recommend this property.

Pictures do not do this property justice!

There were 9 adults, 5 children, 6 years and under. And, we had both homes. There was plenty of space, all beautifully appointed, indoors and out. All in all, this rental was as close to perfection as it could possibly have been. In fact, we already have return plans. There are 5 acres to explore. Trails have been lighted, and there is even a swing deep into the woods (just follow the creek). We did lots of things around the area, but the absolute truth is, we could have stayed there the entire 5 days and it would have been a very satisfactory vacation! The owner has spared no expense with her decor. It's very much like a Tuscan Villa (I've rented those, too!), but better! Hendersonville is a delightful town with something entertaining or cultural going on weekly. And then the restaurants in the area are fantastic (Never Blue - amazing food!). But, back to the house, the kitchen was a delight to cook in, there were enough plates to feed 50+! Seriously! Washers and dryers (three between the two properties). Nooks to read in, a variety of outdoor seating to easily accommodate our large crowd, luxurious to basic bathrooms, but again, plenty to accommodate. The only hick-up during our stay was the Biltmore tickets. I called the week before to pre-order, but was told just to wait, decide for sure when we wanted to go (though I already knew when we wanted to go). So, the day we arrived, I was called by Susie, called her back when we were all settled so that she could go over some instructions/helpful tips. I asked her to go ahead and order the tickets at the discount, using the same CC on file. I was told to pick the tickets up at the "will-call" ticket area, that they would be under the owner's name. There were no tickets. Not under the owner's name, Susie's name, my name...no tickets. Unfortunately, this problem took close to 1 hour to solve (remember-5 children!). I ended up buying 10 tickets at $20 off the ticket price because 10 tickets put us at the group rate! It cost me less than if I'd bought at the regular discount I planned to use. And, the Biltmore personnel could NOT have been more helpful. It was a very stressful time, but they were fantastic! We are all glad to have taken that amazing tour!

Far beyond expectations!

All I can say is INCREDIBLY LOVELY! We had family reunion of sorts and someone brought along a friend who happened to be a professional chef! He said that he was a astonished to see such a well-appointed kitchen. We all felt like we were live on the cooking channel! Because of the season, everything was perfect, in-bloom, and meticulously maintained. Not only were there gorgeous community living areas like the living room, outside deck and hot tub, the bedrooms were absolutely perfect. My husband and I were in the master BR in the main house and felt like we were honeymooning again going to sleep under the stars (skylight over the bed), awakening to the sun rising over the screened porch, and being lulled by the waterfall below. It was magic! Will we return? COUNT ON IT!

The WOW factor plus some

The estate and houses are even more lovely than the pictures. Our family and guests were awed by the details of the landscape, flowers, the uniqueness of the main house and guest cottage. The personal touches made us so comfortable. Add in a baby grand for music on a relaxing evening and a dip in the hot tub before bedtime, plus the sounds of waterfall and the results are pure luxury.Willow Falls was exactly what we hoped for in being together for a family wedding. The kitchen had all I needed for entertaining, plenty of beautiful dishes to use and great seating at the farm table. Bedrooms were luxurious and comfy. And the master bedroom's screened porch was perfect for early morning coffee and conversation. Many thanks to the owners for sharing this heavenly place. Susie, who manages the property, was on the spot with answers to all our questions. We look forward to working with her again since our family is eager to return. It IS WOW.

Great Place

We had 6 adults and 3 kids. It is really the perfect setting. I wanted a house where I can be in the mountains but not far away from town. I have never had a back yard area like this one in all the times I have been renting here. I even thought that if I was planning an event I would use this house. The kids loved the stream and you can take walks from the back yard. Close to mountain biking and everything we wanted to do.

One of a kind

I spent Thanksgiving with my family(10 of us) and could not have asked for a better location. The house is tucked into the hillside and was so quaint and cozy. The waterfall flows in between the house and the cottage. I slept with my door cracked every night so I could hear the water flowing by. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great quality. No detail was overlooked here! Can't wait to experience all 4 seasons at Little Willow Falls.

Every need fulfilled

This beautiful property was everything we had hoped for and more. I was able to stay here for two nights as part of a small wedding weekend. The decor inside and out was so lush and comfortable. We enjoyed the many gathering And visiting spaces comfortable for all. I loved the unique setting!! This is not your run of the mill rental property. The house is well equipped for cooking, visiting, relaxing, playing and more.
