Disappointing

The initial reservation with VRBO was not informative. I searched on a location that would have a hot tub and the VRBO information showed a hot tub, the location didn't have a hot tub and the check-in counter person was surprised when I asked. I was not exactly sure what type of location the reservation was made for when I made it, it was a regular hotel (Hotel Elliot) which is not preferable. When I checked-in, a 500.39 charge was added to my card on top of the VRBO charges, this was unexpected since I made the reservation through VRBO. The front desk person said it should drop off in 1-2 days so I assume it was an additional damage deposit added on from the hotel. We found the body soap in the shower empty, we had to ask for some bar soap for the sink. After the first night, when came back to the room, the coffee packets had not been replenished, the coffee cups were not replaced with clean ones and the trash cans weren't emptied. This was a very disappointing stay and we will not stay at this location again and will not recommend this location to others in the future.
