A newly built bali style property built to very high standards. Features all wood floors in the bedrooms and vaulted wooden ceiling in the lounge. There is an outdoor BBQ sala with full size fridge and gas BBQ together with sink. An outdoor shower by the pool and two space covered carport with electric remote operated gate. Separate laundry and storage room. Located a short distance from the town centre with easy town access from two main roads although the property is situated in a quiet hamlet with 25 other newly built resident occupied villas. There is 24 hour security via a remotely operated gate with guards. The villa also features a 4kw solar power system. Water and electricity are charged at 7baht per kWh and 60baht per m3.

About the host

We are a Thai/British family with two young daughters. We live and work in Oman in the Middle East and have our home in Hua Hin, Thailand. With a large family and friends we have a second house which we use for family and friends but also rent out when its not being used by ourselves.
Why they chose this property
We looked at many places in Hua Hin before settling on Hillside Hamlet and the attraction to us is the gated community and the fact that more or less all the owner occupiers are also mixed marriages and also some with children. The other main attraction was the ability to design the house ourselves. We love wood and this features a lot with all the floors and the vaulted ceiling in the living area, not to mention outside.
What makes this property unique
The unique elements we love are the outside kitchen/BBQ area at the end of the 10m infinity style pool and jacuzzi, where there is also an outside shower. Privacy is key as well and we designed the perimetre wall to be higher so that one is assured privacy from any neighbours. Remote electric garage door as well as a 4KW solar power unit which reduce electric costs to zero when we are not there.
