About this property

Located at the heart of the Centro International (international business district), in the "Parque Central Bavaria", a secure and friendly neighbourhood. At a short distance from restaurants, museums, near cultural and historical spots of interest, several Universities and Libraries.
With elevator access, a spacious floor plan, has a master bedroom, independent bathroom, living room, hall, independent laundry area and fully equipped kitchen with a dining bar, all in deluxe finishings, not to forget the great view of the eastern Bogota hills and the city. This is your home during your stay in the city and it's totally private, you won't be sharing facilities with anyone else.
Cable TV, Wireless internet, TV Set, DVD Player, Sound System, 1 Double Queen size bed, 1 bed sofa for an extra guest, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven, washing machine and shower with running hot water. Security door in flat, private gated attended building entry monitored with 24/7 surveillance, elevator access as well as building access from main avenue steps away from the city's major transport system Transmilenio. The building has a nice Gym and events room, as well as a food court in the first level which offers a wide option of restaurants to choose from in the first level. Airport pick-up and drop-off services, personalised tours, Gym access and weekly cleaning services are available upon request.
I receive my guests personally at the check in, and check out, giving them also the choice for an Airport pick up and drop off service. I leave my guests with a comprehensive guide of the city and guidelines of how everything works around the neighbourhood. I personally enjoy interaction with my guests and I'm always willing to assist in every possible way.
The flat is conveniently located between three of the major traffic arteries in the city: Avenida 7a, where you could have major access to the northern part of the city and Avenida Caracas, where the city's major transport system Transmilenio runs, and which connects to any part of the city you would like to go from north, south, as well as as Avenida 26 which connects you to the western part of the city, giving access to El Dorado International Airport.
While being located at the heart of the business centre, you can walk this area in daytime to take in the interesting architecture from the Colombian architect Rogelio Salmona, whom designed Torres del Parque, recognized as one of the best works of 20th century architecture in Latin America. The Torres consist of three brick buildings, the tallest with 37 floors, located around three important places in the neighbourhood: the Plaza de Toros Santamaría (Bogotá’s bullring), the Parque de la Independencia (a pleasant park full of palm trees), and the Planetarium. As you walk and browse the stores and galleries that are springing up as the district comes of age in Macarena neighbourhood (10 min walk across Avenida 7a) you will be entering one of the hippest and most fashionable barrios at the moment. Get your fill of boho Bogota in this neighbourhood filled with local and international hipsters, actors, artists, and lookalikes of legendary Marxist revolutionary Ché Guevara. New and exciting culinary scene in Bogota in famous or alternative restaurants, where you can dine on traditional Colombian fare, fantastic burgers in the Hamburgueseria, Yugoslav, Caribbean, Chilean and Mexican cuisine as well. The Jugueteria remains a firm favorite amongst Bogotanos for the novelty decor. If you feel lazy there are restaurants with the option for delivery available in the area as well. Major stores, banks, travel agencies, event centres, theaters, cinemas and museums, casinos, bars and clubs are around the area, as well as money exchange services, postal services and 24/7 ATM's in neighbourhood. Bogotá's night life lives here: from classical music venues to traditional/ alternative folk beats like cumbia or salsa, to techno, electro, rock and metal, there's something for every taste in this part of town. If you enjoy physical activities, There's major parks nearby like Parque Nacional, and the city closes the traffic in Avenida 7a on sundays to turn it into the Ciclovía, giving exclusive access to bikes and pedestrians from downtown to northern part of town until until 14:00hrs to step back from your car and enjoy physical activities.

About the host
Hosted by Carlos Vesga

As someone who enjoys travelling, I like to provide my guests with a comfortable and convenient location to enjoy the best that Bogotá has to offer, the same way as I would like it to be when when I travel myself. I grew up in this city and neighbourhood so I know it pretty well, whenever you have any questions or need any assistance, I'll be more than glad to help!
