One block from Kendrick Park and the ice cream stand and walking/biking paths. Walking distance from two local breweries. Beautiful historic home updated with high end kitchen and lovely backyard including rock fire pit and inviting porches on three sides of the home. Our home is family friendly with a backyard.
Master bedroom with king-sized bed and sitting area. Second bedroom with queen sized bed and wonderful morning light. Third bedroom with king-sized bed and great afternoon light. Fourth bedroom has a double bed. Fifth and sixth bedrooms are on third floor and have no door between them. One room has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds.
Sheridan was recognized recently as one of the "Best of the West" in True West magazine with a historic downtown, walking/biking paths, numerous parks, and hiking trails. Also, a frequent stopping point for many traveling to Yellowstone National Park.
Our home is within walking distance of downtown which has great restaurants, quaint coffee shops, bars including the famous Mint Bar, and local breweries.
Also, just a block over is Goose Creek - perfect for fishing and in later summer, tubing.
We are 4 blocks directly west of downtown where you can find fine dining at Frackelton's. Sheridan has two fabulous coffee shops - Java Moon and Bison Union - both downtown. Blacktooth Brewery has won many awards for their brews. Their Hot Streak IPA is a favorite! Luminous Brewery has a tap room, which includes a child-friendly space. Both breweries host live music regularly and food trucks frequent the two blocks between the breweries.
The Pony is a family friendly sports bar with a shaded deck area for outdoor dining and a diverse menu.
The Mint Bar is a legend around these parts. It is a unique experience and a must for anyone wanting to be exposed to authentic western cowboy culture - even REAL cowboys!
During the summer, Sheridan Farmer's market is open every Thursday on Grinnell Plaza starting in July and going through September. And every Third Thursday, beginning June 22, about 5 blocks of Main Street are closed to traffic and opened up to strolling. Live music, food trucks, local businesses, and many booths are open.

The Sheridan area is also known for world-class polo - free games every Sunday afternoon, great golf (Kendrick and the Powderhorn), Tongue River hiking trail near Dayton, WY, many trail systems (go to Sheridan Community Land Trust's website for details), Sheridan WYO Rodeo in July, and hosts several large soccer tournaments.
Off street parking is available but not usually a problem.
