Get ready to relax in this spacious cabin with your own private riverfront, in Hope NY. Swim, wade, snorkel, kayak, fish! This welcoming retreat offers all the comforts you need, from a washer/dryer to WiFi. The tranquil surroundings, rushing sounds of the river, and pleasant atmosphere make it the perfect escape for guests looking to unwind. Our place will help you feel at home especially with long hammock-naps by the river. Albany airport approximately 1 hour from the cabin. You’ll love it here - most guests come back over and over. Our kitchenette is perfectly set up with every portable appliance you’ll need, and includes all the cookware and utensils. Coffee station too. Also a convection oven! There are several great restaurants close by if you’re interested. Sleeps 6 and pets welcome too!

My name is Eva and I’m originally from upstate New York. I enjoy hiking and sitting by the river at the cabin. It’s very peaceful. It’s my pleasure to host my guests, knowing they’re enjoying this peaceful little paradise as I do!
Why they chose this property
The log cabin is directly on the Sacandaga River. The river is only a few feet deep and runs over the rocks, making the most awesome, serene sound. You can spend the entire day napping in the hammock next to the river and never get tired of it! The cabin is on half an acre private property, but is surrounded by woods. We have a neighborhood eagle that regularly flies over the river. Hummingbirds like to frequent our birdfeeder in the summer. You’ll become one with nature!
What makes this property unique
The river is an awesome experience in any season. You’ll especially appreciate wading or floating the river, and if you’re a fishing expert, you might catch a fish on the first cast like some of our other guests have done! It’s peaceful and private here, and most of our guests return for different seasons of the year! It will be my pleasure to host you!
