Wonderful.

Owners, caretakers, cleaners were excellent. Very proactive in ensuring our stay was brilliant. Lots of different areas to relax and be alone if desired. Expect occasional insect ingress. That’s a reflection on the hillside location. Fabulous stay. A forest fire in Bordeaux led to smoke in the area. Staff came to visit to warn us and advise us. Thank you.

Loved this place!

This place had everything! It was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and spacious. Anthonia provided us with helpful suggestions before we even got there, and her daughter, Sanne, welcomed us when we arrived. She explained all the appliances (which were in the Dutch language) and remained available when we needed her. I would definitely recommend this beautiful property and would love to return!

beautiful property in a very picturesque and interesting area.

The farmhouse was full of character and very well equipped. The only small reservation was that the bed linen could have been better for the temperatures - waterproof mattress covers led to very sweaty nights! The swimming pool at the back door was excellent for an early morning swim, and with the fitness room on hand there was no excuse for laziness. The meals which we ordered (one prepared and served by two very charming girls, and one prepared and delivered by our hosts for us to serve ourselves) were excellent, as was the hotel/restaurant a short walk away. Our host Anthonia and her family were charming and very helpful There were many very interesting places to visit only a short drive away, not least the fabulous cave paintings at Lascaux, and the historic towns and villages including Sarlat (great market) and Domme (fabulous panoramic views of Dordogne and brilliant jewellers/silver shops)
