Perfect Ski Vacation Spot

Stayed at Jim’s apartment for a ski trip to Bromley and it was great! Apartment is a short drive to the mountain and was perfect for skiing. Great space for a couple and was well equipped with everything we needed. Jim was very helpful and responsive! Would stay here again!

Beautiful location and great accommodations with a caring host

I stayed at the small apartment for a couple of days. The site is unbelievable with a great view of the mountains and a bird feeder out the window. The dirt driveway is long. There was no snow. I had a small SUV and it was fine. Honestly a regular car will do unless there is snow around I think. John was very attentive to my needs and provided lots of information on trails nearby. Manchester is only 3 miles away with lots of shopping and restaurants. The bed was comfy and the wood stove warms the place very nicely.

Wonderful birthday weekend

I was looking forward to a quiet relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting, and that’s what I got! Great views of the mountains, a toasty fire place, comfortable bed, cozy living area, and thoughtful details from our host throughout the house made for an extra special stay.

Great apartment, Great Location, Great Host

My wife and I stayed at Jim’s place for a ski weekend and had a great experience. The apartment is in an ideal location - between Manchester and Stratton. Jim was a wonderful host who had the apartment prepared for us upon arrival. We loved the propane stove, views from the backyard and chocolates left on our pillows. Our stay was during a major snowstorm and Jim made sure to have the driveway plowed and the walkway shoveled. Additionally, we arrived early and he allowed for an early check-in. We would definitely recommend the apartment and stay there again.

Excellent place with a superior host!

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a last minute ski weekend. The owner, Jim, is extremely attentive, generous, and accommodating. The location is very ideal - just a few minutes driving to all shopping and dining attractions in Manchester, as well as to Bromley Mountain. Very comfortable apartment that met all of our needs, and the view from the dining area is beautiful! We are hoping to return for another stay as soon as we can!

Warm, cozy home in the woods with an amazing view. As advertised!

Jim was very responsive to our questions about the home and surrounding area. The house was very cozy, with a fire going, the lights dimmed and classical music playing upon our arrival. You can tell that Jim spent a lot of tike anticipating needs and questions and made it easy for us to quickly make his home our home. Thoughtful touches like milk in the refrigerator and tea/coffee available made our stay extra special.

Secluded and lovely

My husband and I loved this place. It was secluded, yet close to Manchester and Dorset. Jim was very thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great. My favorite part was sitting in the dining area in the morning looking out the glass walls at Bromley mountain and watching the birds eat the last of the wildflower seeds. We look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful place

Very cute apartment in the bottom of a cottage. Not far from the highway but can't hear the noise at all. Wonderful view with good parking. Washing machine and dryer, full kitchen, full bathroom, all in good condition. Some of the outlets don't work, but enough do that it's not a real issue. The owner is very nice and always available to answer questions about the place. Highly recommend this location.

A beautiful calm and relaxing holiday Inn

The apartment was well maintained and clean and was beautifully located in between the drive through a path of woods. Well lighted and amazing views of nature. Private and quite away from busy roads. Enjoyed the stay and Jim was a very friendly helpful person who guided us to some beautiful spots to visit. Thank you!

Great apartment close to Manchester

We’ve enjoyed the spacious apartment close to Manchester and many other locations for a hike. We liked the tranquility of the place, in particular in the evenings with the setting sun. We were a little too early for the many wildflowers that were planted by Jim, but there was enough “wildlife”, including our very own Woody Woodpecker😊 Els: I give the apartment and Jim six stars 😉

Great Apt for a weekend Getaway!

Perfect size apartment for a couples vacation. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The fireplace was not only a homey touch but warmed the apartment within minutes. Stratton mountain was conveniently located an easy 20 minute drive away. Also, the homeowner, Jim, was extremely helpful answering any questions we had and making sure the rental was completed set with all the essentials including toothbrushes! Such a perfect place with a great rental price! We would definitely recommend in the future. (Side note: make sure you have a vehicle that’s good in snow!)

Wonderful apartment!

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Jim’s apartment tucked away in the woods. It’s quiet and peaceful yet close to restaurants, hiking and biking trails, and shopping. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a gas stove for chilly days and nights. Jim was very helpful and provided everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend if you are visiting the Manchester VT area.

Small cabin with perfect vibes

The cabin was really nice and cozy. The owner of the cabin was very helpful and friendly. He had everything laid out perfectly for the visitors. He provided us with the map, had notes around in the cabin for small little details and was very willing to help. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.
