Here, you'll find yourself immersed in nature while being just minutes away from all Trout Creek has to offer! Spend your summer days on the nearby Noxon Reservoir, explore the area's hiking trails, or bring your horses along too. In Winter, go ice-fishing, or xcountry ski and snowmobile from your front doorstep. No matter what kind of adventure you're after, we know you'll love it here!
THE SPACE:
Timber Ridge Retreat is situated on over 100 serene acres, nestled in nature and bordered by a lovely creek. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property also offers a barn with 6 stalls, indoor arena, corral, and round pen for guests' use.
Just a quick 7-minute drive from the town of Trout Creek and the Noxon Reservoir boat ramp, this location offers an ideal base to enjoy the myriad activities available in the Trout Creek area. After a day filled with adventure, you can fire up the grill, enjoy some lawn games, and unwind in the tranquil surroundings.
Whether you seek relaxation, adventure, or outdoor pursuits such as boating, fishing, horseback riding, ATV excursions, hunting, snowmobiling, or skiing, we have it all.
BRING YOUR HORSES ALONG!
Horse lovers will feel right at home here! The ranch property features a barn with six horse stalls, a spacious and well-lit indoor arena, a corral, and a round pen. There’s ample space for your horses, plus plenty of land for you to roam.
TROUT CREEK ACTIVITIES:
Trout Creek is known for the outdoor enthusiast and family-friendly activities like ATV, boating, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking, camping, sightseeing, and more! Our driveway has plenty of room to park your toys.
BOATING: Bring your boat (or rent one locally) to enjoy fun summer days on the Noxon Reservoir. The boat ramp is just down the road!
HIKING: Trout Creek has a plethora of nearby hiking trails to be explored!
SKIING/SNOWSHOEING: In the winter months, you can ski/snowshoe from your front doorstep! Downhill skiing and snow tubing is available at the nearby Schweitzer Ski Mountain, where you will also find fun summertime activities as well.
ATV/SNOWMOBILE: Bring your ATV or Snowmobile (or rent one locally)! You will find endless snowmobile trails for your winter activities and ATV trails for summer.
FISHING: Fish some of the most scenic water for perch, northern pike, walleye, and trout. The area is very popular for ice fishing too! Join us April-September for our popular bass fishing tournaments.
HUNTING: Located in hunting district 121, the area is known for hunting trophy elk, deer, bear, big horn sheep and moose.
HUCKLEBERRY HAVEN: Trout Creek is the huckleberry capital of Montana and hosts the biggest celebration of huckleberries in the state.

Trout Creek is located on MT Highway 200, 100 miles west of Missoula, MT; 60 miles east of Sandpoint, ID; 140 miles east of Spokane, WA. Elevation 2,372. It is 20 miles west of Thompson Falls, MT and sits on the shores of the 35 mile long Noxon Reservoir of the Clark Fork River.

•Missoula, Montana airport (2 hour drive)
•Glacier Park International Airport (2.5 hour drive)
•Spokane International Airport (2.5 hour drive)
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:
• Trout Creek (under 10 min drive) - "The Local Store" offers a variety of groceries, wine/beer
• Local Dining: Lakeside Restaurant, Wayside Bar & Lounge, and Naughty Pine Restaurant within 10 minutes. Wayside Bar & Grill is our personal favorite, known for their great burgers, fish & chips, and local beer/wine selection!
• Quinn's Hot Springs (1 hour drive) - Get tickets in advance! Terrific hot springs with multiple pools overlooking beautiful scenery. There's also a cold pool, poolside bar, and a great restaurant.
• Wild Horse Hot Springs (1.5 hour drive) - a quirky hot springs with a sushi food truck. BYOB.
• Ross Creek Cedars - Kootenai National Forest (30-45 min drive) - Hiking trails around forest of large cedar trees
• Kootenai Falls and Swinging Bridge (1 hour drive)
• Fishing & Boating at Noxon Reservoir (just down the road)
• Skiing & hiking at Schweitzer Mountain Resort (1 hour drive)

• The entire home is located on the second story of the building. Stairs are needed to access home.
• The home owner lives in the neighboring house. The area directly around their home and the lower-level shop are private, however you are free to roam the rest of the property as you wish!
• Please note that there are wildlife and two cats that frequent the property.
• Please talk to Host if you plan to bring horses.
• Traveling in this area means enjoying picturesque drives wherever you go, with no traffic to slow you down. Just remember, during the winter months, 4-wheel drive might be necessary to navigate through snow and ice. But don't worry, the stunning views will make it all worth it!
