Great place!
Right around the corner from downtown talkeetna, but not in the buzz of all the tourists walking around. We loved this cabin, very clean comes with two queen beds perfect for families with littles or multiple couples! We will be back with our kids.

This is our second time staying here. Both times were a great experience. Don has been very welcoming both times as well. Our room was ready early and very, very clean. Love staying here!

Don Devore was one of the original Alaska 59ers who traveled by motorized wagon train to Alaska in 1959 to homestead in the rugged wilderness, five miles north of Talkeetna. Homesteading was tough but rewarding. Don's family learned self-reliance, and survived on the barest of necessities. Families and friends grew close, helping each other in hard times and sharing what they had.
