“I hail from Montana, I wear a bandanna, my hair is of silver, my pickup is gray…” (and if you’re old enough to recognize the first iteration of that song - God Bless You). As inferred, I grew up on a ranch in central Montana and taught school 42 years before retiring in 2019. I boast an amazing family, including my husband, two children, two step-children and three grandchildren. My first introduction to Arizona came during the early 1970s, when my dad froze his hands so severely he could no longer ranch in Big Sky County. Since then, I’ve been back and forth between two of the most beautiful places in the country and am loving official “snowbird” status. I’m enamored with the desert, its peoples and its history. I’m a bibliophile, a country music fan and a beginning line dancer. Now I’m also trying my hand at mid-term rentals. Yippee ki yay!

Why they chose this property

I live a few miles down the road and wanted an income property that would allow me to share my love of our beautifully unique Sonoran desert with others. I enjoy the friendliness, community support and safety of 55+ adult communities.

What makes this property unique

I recently purchased this property because it had been completely renovated into a spacious and light filled retreat that was both updated and cozy. I appreciate the one-level easy access at both entries, new laminate flooring and well designed kitchen space. Most of all I love the way cathedral ceilings and large windows combine to bring the desert inside.
