Lake access, with short walk to Wamplers Lake. Air condition, wifi, cable. Walking distance to Jerrys Pub. 10 minutes from Michigan International Speedway. Pioneer Wine Trail accessible, 5 wineries within a 1/2 hr driving area. No pets, no smoking. Perfect area for a ladies wine weekend getaway, Sept and Oct are popular.

100% would rent again!!!
First off we all know how hectic the holidays are. We booked over the Christmas holidays coming from North Carolina. The pictures don’t do the property justice! My wife and I travel with two kids ages 12,8 and younger had plenty of rooms! The layout was perfect. We even have friends visit that had 5 additional kids all under 10.over for dinner without any issues! The owners lived just up the street and were very accommodating, but they had it setup so well we didn’t need anything. DoorDash now is in the area and plenty of other places to eat and they have a Full stocked kitchen if you want to do all the cooking! I cannot wait to come back in summer when we can enjoy the lake and outdoor cooking! 10/10 would definitely rent again!

A true gem!
We travel for work, and always just need a place to rest for a few hours each night. When I booked this wonderful cabin, I had no idea that it would be our best experience in a rental EVER!! Rita & Al were the absolute best hosts, I truly cannot say enough about how great this weekend was, and how happy they made our crew! We WILL be back!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rita’s cottage. It was charming and had everything that we needed. As well stacked with coffee, products, etc. We hope to stay here again!

Girls weekend away
Rita was amazing at communication. I had an issue with the booking process that was completely my fault, Rita helped out and calmed my fears of the booking not going through completely. The place was absolutely perfect for our group. The pictures don't do it justice! Rita and family are right down the road, easy to reach and super accommodating with amenities. Adorable lake cottage
The cottage was perfect for my husband and I to get away to celebrate our anniversary. It is literally steps away from Jerry's Pub. Very clean, comfortable, and is fully stocked with everything you could want/need. The hosts, Al and Rita, are right down the street and were so gracious. You can tell they love it at the lake and go well out of their way to ensure their guests do too. We'll definitely return!

This cabin was perfect! It is cozy and has a great outdoor area for relaxing and talking around the firepit (firewood waiting for us) or covered patio. Al and Rita were the best hosts you could ask for. Was not lacking for anything.

My friend and I stayed a weekend, I had never interacted with the homeowners before.. . The house was cute, we had to squeeze by the recliners.... but, overall cute. Basic needs were met but, there was a lot of dust on the walls of my room and the ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Counters were sticky and we had to reach out to the homeowner because, we couldn't get the shower to work. There was a lot to do in the area for those who wanted to do so. But, for a weekend, I expected more....for almost $500.😬

Rita and Al were the best. Communication was excellent. They even brought down a battery charger for a car that left the dome light on overnight. House was clean and as exactly as advertised. Definitely will be coming back here in the future.

Cozy Cabin on Wamplers Lake near Brooklyn, MI
The Cozy Cabin is much nicer in person than the dark pictures portray! It was meticulously clean and was equipped with anything you could possibly want. The lake is just a couples of houses away where the small road dead ends. Sunsets were awesome and it was very relaxing to sit on the chair on the grassy beach! I would definitely stay again!
